My first ever grow, I chose cfls for fun. I cropped the top cause it was growin into my lights. Holding it down with a golf ball and some ducktape haha. Ever since I pinched the stem, the sides blew up nicely.

Its bagseed, I dunno what kind it is, but the sack was kinda spendy, and tasted good.

I only got 1 bean tho, thankfully it was female, but Im gonna try to re-veg after flower.....

Now my other buddy is tryin to get some germinated outta some crapola haha.......he was hatin on me at first but, I showed him in the end how its done after talking all that shit. lol. I wish him luck though.

Update
Gettin there.

I hope a couple more weeks to go maybe by march.

I know you cant tell by my pics but it looks pretty icy in there! especially in the middle.

2 questions:

1. Is it better to chop later, than early in your opinion?

2. Can anyone plese tell me why the big fan leave veins are red? and not green?

Im hoping to go by trics, but im also hoping by the 23rd it will be ready.

Can I trim all the fan leaves off to promote bud growth? this late in flowering?

Or is it better to leave them attached because thats where the plant gets its light?

damn those are some beautiful reaching hairs. i heard its not good to trim while budding, becuz then the plant focuses on regrowing what you just trimmed. but i think if you don't go crazy and just trim the ones blocking the light it should be ok.if its not broken don't fix it.

First day of flower, I also threw in 11 silica packets on the ground for moisture control haha. Then I spilled water on 3 of em, and had to throw 3 of them away. So now Im down to 8. :dunce:

Beautiful, healthy plants bro. However I wouldn't count on the 23rd. To me, they look a little younger than that. That sometimes happens with cfl's. I usually add at least a week to flowering times. Harvest early=racey head high, daytime. Harvest later= more body relaxation added to the head high.

Solution= Harvest a few buds on the 23rd. Wait for the rest to ripen. Always helps me to know I've got some curing cause I got no patience!
