ive been running the 315 watt cmh lamps for 2 years now,, i think its time to replace the bulbs...when i bought the 315's each came with 3100k phillips greenpower elite agro t12 bulbs.. on amazon the new phillips bulbs are 90-100 bucks but ipower, makes a bulb for 55.. has anyone tried the ipower or vivosun 315 watt cmh bulbs? please say what bulb youve used and how well it worked...all the 315 watt cmh bulbs say pretty much the same thing, 3100k,3000k, 4200k, etc,, all around 3300 lumens,,, so whats the difference between phillips elite agro and the ipower, earthworks, vivo sun,, or other cheaper bulbs???

Here's a good resource for bulb comparison

I would suggest the phillips 3k bulb. They got them on that site for 75$.

he didnt try the ipower,, but it seems the phillips is best...i just wonder how big a difference thered be in terms of quality and yield under the phillips and the cheaper bulbs...
I couldn't say, but why cheap out on a bulb that lasts 1-2 years, just doesn't seem worth it to me. I use the phillips bulbs they aren't that expensive.
