300 w Mars hydro

My roommate is ran the same tent with 2 of the Mars600 panels. When you say 300w do you mean 300w from the wall? Because the Mars600 panels pull only 276w from the wall. The Mars300 only pull roughly 150. I say two Mars600 panels should be plenty for your grow space

The 150 draw I wanna have 3 in tent

why so expensive? have you grown with mars hydro light? maybe this one specifically?

yep, and one simply couldn't get my plants to grow. They sat for weeks with little to no growth, and after just 12 days with a 400w HPS they have quadrupled in size.

You can try with 2, but don't say I told you so when you're on week 4-5 and your girls are still small as fuck.

how many plants? from what i read max for 2 of these lights is 4 plants i wanna do 3 lights in room so a little more then 320 watts? the reason I'm going led is heat and cost, i already ordered one of mars hydro and hoping to order 3 more. maybe you got a bad light? theres someone who commented earlier in this thread that said they did awesome with one 300w

It's possible the light was bad, but it seemed to function fine. I sold it anyways. I had about 4 seedlings in cups under it before transferring them to 2 gal grow pots. They literally sat and looked like they were 2 days old for like 4 weeks until introducing the HPS. Maybe it just takes 2-3 of them to get shit going. Idk. Can't find many grows under just 1

Check the dif within 10 days. The new pic is a couple days old too. Theyre even bigger now

I'm no pro but this pots might be way to big also, I'm not sure if that makes a difference but i don't believe the plant gets as much water or nutrients when the roots are so small and there so much space between roots and bottom of pot.

Bruh.. You needed to put them a bit closer to the canopy.

you can mix it up too, grab a cheap 400hps and keep them mars running. look on craigslist you find a 400's being given away.

Imho, mixing is good. right now I'm running COB and CMH's

are hps expensive to run? whats the next cheapest option after led. I'm worried mostly about energy cost
a 400 will be pretty close to adding two more 300 mars, but you will be getting a lot more light.

400 is a small light. and if you wanted just run it in flower, veg under the mars, and just run the HPS on the flip. 12/12 that will cut costs.

Cheap LED's are not worth the money. This includes "Advanced Platinum". I have one, blues are fine, but the reds suck balls. Plus, they're overpriced (yet still "cheap") and the overall efficiency is trounced by the good stuff. Google "rollitup advanced platinum led" and check the top five or so posts... it isn't pretty.

Go with a 400w HID if you're not willing to build your own LED's (Cree & Vero are popular and work). This is an alternative light that's had good reviews. Short tent, you might want to stick with the 4100K.

I'm using 5 foot tent.
