30+ years old seeds. What would you do?

A notable botinist once told me in a chat room that he used dimethyl suIphoxide (DMSO) in a pressurized jar to pop old or difficult seeds.

He also said they popped 1000 yr. old seeds found in perma frost, but they were obviously somewhat preserved.

The pressurized jar was a simple lab jar with black rubber stopper with 2 holes, one to pump in air with a squeeze ball. I don't remember the % of DSMO in the solution.
