The cold weather probably plays a role. 30 degrees at night. I clone 98 cuts per dome. No trays just the rockwhool and dome. I open dome for 8 hours per day after 10 days. Now i put heater in set at 70 degree. Can i treat them as vegetive plants and just water them when ever cube dry? Or should i still close domes at this point?

I put the clones into rw cubes, put them in the prop 23/24c with no ventilation, after a couple of days I open one vent next day 2nd vent 4/5th lid of.
Regards watering I used to give them the bare minimum to last 24 hrs, roots would take 5/10 days, I've started using a bubble cloner its almost zero maintenance appeals to me

Happy growing!

They root faster if you keep the root zone warm, 78-80 ish is good. Take off the dome as soon as they have enough roots so they don't wilt.

If you remove the dome for longer than half an hour and none of them start to droop, you can leave it off.

In my experience, this usually happens between day 7 and 10 from taking clones.

I strongly suggest a heat pad with some insulation under it.

Good luck

Here's a couple of clones done side by side, go figure.

If your in a dome you need a thermometer in there, then adjust according.I leave my vents open a crack otherwise it gets too warm.
