Both in coco getting half grow and half bloom dyna grow nutes and calmag. They are in a 4'x4' tent under a 1000w hps. Canopy temps are just below 80*f with the lights on. I use the ph drops so I'm not exact on the ph but it is always roughly 6 when I water. This is my second grow but the first time being able to flower as the first time I had two males. They veg'd under a 6 lamp t5 and started flower under a 400w mh. I upgraded to the 1000w two weeks ago and temps have raised from 68*-70*f during lights on to 78*-80*f lights on. Lights off temps are just below 70*f which is room temp in my basement.

Add more P. do you have a bloom mix like 10-52-10 or something? you want to add 1.5 tbl to 1 gall of water for that big lady and 1 tbs for little one. now that is on top of your reg nutes. so you will have 3 tbls per gall for that big one and 2 tbls for the smaller one total nutes i also like to give them 1 cup pure water first let the soil get wet then add the nutes so it dont burn the roots. the ladies looking good they just crabby cause they are hungry. if you are already doing that then give a bit more.
Peace and Love all

Plants look pretty good though man, other than the little yellowing issue going on. I've never used Dyna before so I'm not sure, but is there a reason you're not just doing full strength bloom instead of half and half? The first plant looks like it's hungry to me. You're getting fresh air into the tent right? How close is that first plant to the hood?

I'd personally try switching to full bloom nutrients and possibly upping the CalMag a bit too. You using RO Water to mix your nutes in or?

Thanks. I've been searching around for the last few days and haven't been able to figure it out. Grow is 7-9-5 and bloom is 3-12-6. I've been using the full recommended amount according to the label and was afraid of over feeding. I tried some molasses and they seemed to like it but am unsure of how often to feed that with everything else.

I'm using purified tap water for now but will have my RO unit installed this week. At first I stayed with the veg nutes until i confirmed them to be female before switching to bloom nutes. Then after seeing the yellowing I went 50/50 assuming that it was a nitrogen issue. The air is coming in from my basement and vented out through my chimney. I've never measured the distance of the light from the top of the plant. I use an infrared temp pen on the top leaves and adjust from there.

You can give the molasses every feeding if you want, it won't hurt anything.

Here is a feeding chart from their website that would probably be very useful for you : http://www.dyna-gro.com/Website pdf Files/DG Hydroponic Feeding Chart.pdf

Based on this, you shouldn't be using any of the grow formula after you've switched to 12/12. Use the recirculating or drain to waste chart for coco. Either should do fine. So basically you should be giving 12-15ml per gallon of Bloom and CalMag and that's about it.

*Just so you know, the first 4 weeks on these charts are your Veg Stage...and the next eight weeks is your Bloom Stage.

Not a big deal either way, but I like to make sure I use a little extra CalMag when using RO Water. Not only because it doesn't have any, but because coco is known to leach Magnesium I'm pretty sure.

I haven't been using the hydro charts for ml/gal so they've been getting just under half of what they need. My next grow will be in dirt as that's what my clones were put in once they came out of the dome. Would slowly upping the nutes be more beneficial than just jumping to where they probably should have been in the first place and then adjusting from the results?

So are you using 4ml of both grow and bloom? If you're doing that I'd go ahead and just start giving them 12ml of bloom and 0 of grow next time you feed. I'd honestly just start giving them 12ml bloom either way. They should be just fine.

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the help. There are a few local guys I know that grow but they aren't very willing to offer help unless it's very convenient for them.

The ph is out and the nutes don't have 'buffers'. You have to get a good digital meter with ph up and down and get it on 5.8, atm the plant is missing out on Ca or Mg or both plus other trace element
See the chart ,below 5.8 no Mg, above and no Ca.

I did half strength of both and 2.5ml per gal on the calmag. Ive read that less is more quite a few times and didn't want to burn them. They will need watering tomorrow and i'll go full bloom, a little extra calmag, and the molasses and go from there.

I'll be getting a ph pen probably next weekend if all goes well. I've been using the drops as that's what I had and during veg with this grow as well as the two males that I chopped previously had pretty healthy green plants, especially since I'm still very new to this.

it takes energy to use and absorb nutrientsso use coco water for quick energy. so if you gonna use molasses say 1 tsp to gallon of water then add 2 tsp coco water. the coco water will help the plant quick and cause it to increase in energy usage then it can use the molasses easier. also adding 1 tsp of aloe vera to it is another great option just dont spray on the leaves with this mix and this is for soil im not sure about hydro. if you are trying to be more organic then read this. http://forum.grasscity.com/organic-growing/439841-pissing-your-plants.html
