Is Berryryder2 having a bit of a cal/mag issue with speckling in the leaves? Could be the way the angle was taken with lighting, figured I'd ask though :)

1st time AF grower my plants are in DWC set 400 watt MH3 weeks old and not showing any preflower is that normal? Will I have to induce flowering by week 4-5 f they don't do it on there own?

OK...sorry I should have been more specific. What seed company were they from? Is it a Jack H cross (other than a ruderaslis, which is where the auto trait comes from). So...Specific Company and NAME of strain...? To give you some info it MOST likely will start pre-flower before 5 weeks...but that depends on if it is a regular (lowrider-type), or a "Super-Auto" type...

Ok no problem. I would say, after looking at the auto flowering offerings on Herbies Seeds that there are no "Super auto's" available which included JH in the name of the strains. SO....be patient. It will flower when the time comes, they are all a touch different. If you can be SURE it was not an original JH (Photo-period sensitive), that is...
Hope this was helpful. Please post when she shows pre-flowers!
Peace, Go Slow....

Thanks it or sure is an auto because my friends plant was way quicker than a typical photoperiod plant. I just want sure if I need to induce the flowering by giving it a dark day then 12/12 or if it would just flower with my current 18/6

Question so I have 4 Jack Herrer autos and 2 of them are now showing preflowers one I started skittle later sinus still in veg but the last one seems different. This may be dumb question but can autos be males? As a total noob I just assumed they'd all be females. Thanks in advance

yes, unless you have a Feminized seed...just make sure it is not getting it's male flowers if so move it to another room for pollen harvesting or just destroy it

I'm getting ready to switch out y metal halide bulb for HPS and I'm wondering if I should give my girls a 24-48 dark period then turn in the HPS? When growing regular plants as opposed to autos I usually do that to let them know Hey it's time to flower. I know autos are different so I'm wondering if it's a good idea or a waste of 2 days of productivity.

No worries. So you grow your autos outdoor then? I was reading a thread and someone was saying autos are less potent then regular do you find that to be true? Also I know they won't yield as much as a regular plant but what kinda yield are we talking per plant wise? As always thanks for the response

Well this is only my second grow, and my mistakes on my first grow really put out meager results, yield - wise. The Fruit punch (if it pops thru the dirt - lost the first one because "oops"lol) will be the one to watch in my current grow (check sig), that is from Heavyweight Seeds and is supposed to give hefty yields. The Super Cali Haze is a much older Strain, and one of the first "Super - auto's" said to harvest in 100 -120 days from germ will pack on some weight too and just look at the COLA on the one from my first grow (check sig), and that plant almost got killed! Never did get to smoke it either still gets me a little upset, but hey some people are men of their word and others are not (I was to give my buddy HALF of the yeild but he decided to keep it all and tell me someone "Stole" it along with two of his chain saws...)

Also, it IS an indoor grow, but Check THESE out: TaNgs Mephisto "Grow Show": https://www.rollitup.org/t/tangs-mephisto-room.908783/

I'm confused it's an indoor grow but you don't use lights? And what mistakes did you make. I'm curious cuz I have a2 different auto grows going rt now1 in DWC an 1 outdoor organic? And I'd like to avoid any stupid first timer mistakes myself
