I have m last Pakistan Ryder in some organic soil from wal mart. (first try in soil) I germed in a wet paper towel and planted it in my soil in a medium size flower pot and put in under my light from my AeroGarden deluxe. Its 20 days in and it doesnt look like it has really grown any since it popped up out of the soil. shes very much alive and reacts to the light. Im confused with what to do. could the soil be too tight for root growth? water runs thru it pretty quickly. or am i just stressing over nothing? i choose this soil bbecause it was the only one with out miracle grow in it. but this soil does look like it came out my back yard. Does anyone have any helpful info that could help me with this????

It's not a true autoflower or your lights are too far away or not strong enough to have it growing well enough to be ready to flower is my guess, how big are the plants? how far away and what kind of light is critical, thats what you need to look at at this point imo. please look closely at them and give me the info on the bulbs, thats very important to diagnose whatevers wrong, thats why i asked about that right away.

I doubt its powerful enough to grow rainyday woman man. Tomatoes sure, I think I saw this at my local gardening store/nursery. If you wanna go cheap go with CFLs.

It's not the lights guys. It's the medium, PH, or just crappy genetics. Many others have reported slow or no growth with some auto-strains. I just looked at pictures here of an auto-grow and several plants were not even 3" tall after 45 days, at which point they were harvested. I have never heard of an auto that finishes in 45 days but whatever, 70-80 days yes, 45 no. I would guess that because a lot of auto are fussy, they either don't like the soil or the PH if it's not simply poor genetics. You could grow them in straight perilite, cheap and neutral as far as PH goes, better than the soil your using.

The lights may not be strong enough down the road, but they are OK for this point. But at 20 days you should be sexing those plants, not wondering if they will make it. I would change soil and start new beans.

look you can grow a plant in the shade. or under a strong flashlight. sometimes there are such things as runt plants that just dont do anything including grow. My outdoor grow last year I had a plant that never got bigger then 4 inches, planted in march cut it down in october it looked like a little palm tree. it buded, I got a bowl off it. LOL. if its 20 days old and not growing its not going to all of sudden just blow up.:blsmoke:

thanks guys for all the input. i put her in a smaller pot and made the soil really loose and got her closer to the lights. when i took her out of the other pot i noticed her root when str8 down nothing branching off. but i think if noticed a some more growth since i put her in new pot and loosed soil. ohhh im thinking of doing a nicer set up for inside what type of light would someone recommand to grow 3-6 plants and where can i find them?
