so my heat issue is becoming a problem again, the weather looks like its going to get 10 degrees cooler or so next week. i think i will be golden if i hold off on the flip until the outdoor highs stay 80 or lower

yeah it just got cooler here. Night temps are perfect for a night flower. I am setting up my super 600 hps today while installing a scrog and spreading the plants out into it. then i get to move 26 plants to veg area and order a veg tent so i will have room for clones and small plants. this is gonna be a huge perpetual for me. My new ghost plants are taking off real nice. So we will be flipping real close to each other. I have to update my thread later today or in am after i get it all setup.

sounds like you have your work cut out for you! i remember how hard it is moving around hundreds of plants lol i dont envy all that anymore, i work my ass off with the few plants i keep these days, though i do miss the money!

I am doing this so i wont run low or out. once i get ahead i will just grow 2 scrogs 4'x5' each. till then I am going perpetual. Yeah money is nice to have.

well my screen is filling in nicely, all the plants have fully recovered from the move and growing outwards very rapidly. my guess would be one week maybe then they get the flip. temps are starting to cool down i think it should be a perfect time to take clones and begin the fall crop :bigjoint:

Glad to hear the girls are doing well. Can't wait to see you flip them. Happy to hear temps are going down for you. Mines have been pretty good since the temp drop outside. Will be better when I optimize it. May keep it as is since I'll be moving in spring. Go ahead and get those clones started. I always like a head start just in case problems arise in grow

im going to wait as long as i can to clone i usually do it on the day i flip because they always are out growing my training screen too fast. and as far as temps go the humidity has gotten real high here and my temps have risen again :wall: i really dont want to risk damaging the tiny little bud sites again but i may not have much of a choice. as sSeptemberprogresses however, temps r going to start dropping of drastically

just went and spent 225 bucks to restock my nutes and get some more mycorrhizae (the good bacteeria and trichoderma i talked and wrote about before) :| since the tansition is coming up, it was very important that i got more now. also i think i may cut a 6" exhaust vent for my fan to pull warm air out and see if that makes a difference with the heat

I need to go do the same thing. Sunday will be the day I flip her so I gotta go get the rest of my nutes. You didn't have a fan already exhausting heat? I'm sure that will def help. My temp issues is because I don't have my closet setup right to have stable temps. My exhaust is basically through my light which is not optimal so I'll make it better after this run

yea i dont have a dedicated exhaust per say i had the system closed then i ran an exhaust out of my AC unit which was working just fine until the end of august. the plants seem fine so far, they aren't showing any signs of heat stress thus far. ii have my light further away and making sure to keep the canopy low as i can.

hey gang heres a little photo update. this first pic is the smaller o the two flower screens and its filled in already. the larger of the two is the second pic that has that bub that got stunted in veg along with the clone from my last POG plant the was so killer but went hermie.
what do u guys and gals think? is it time for the flip? that POG stretched big time last go around so im thinking any gaps in that bigger net will get filled in. im already going to have a really tough time keeping the POG in that smaller net, its so big already its going to want to grow out of it. just looking at those two plants there in the small one im going to go on and take an educated guess based on what i saw in the last harvest and say each of those should be 8 OZ plants bongsmilie

thoughts, concerns and opinions?

oh yes i forgot to mention i am routing a 4" exhaust from my carbon filter to hopefully suck some of the heat out of my room. once ii get my canopy temps to stay 80 or below i will feel comfortable to make the flip

with the new heat exhaust my canopy temps have dropped about 5 degrees so far its at 78F idk how much lower it will get. i can raise my carbon filter another foot or so, so that it can pull a little warmer air

yeah today is the first full day on 12/12 finally lol. my one net is going to be a pain to try and control during the stretch but needed the extra time to let the other net fill in some, as i would like to at very least, break the 1000g mark. as far as the light schedule i am going on and risking it again by running the lights in the day time. it just really wont work with my schedule to have the lights on at night no matter how much i want to do that. if i did the care would suffer, i think i would rather solve the heat issue when and if it arises because i know the quality would suffer if all of my work had to be done at night. also i still have yet to lollipop. based on what i saw in the last crop ii wanted to wait to lollipop at the start of flower and get more aggressive with it and literally cut out EVERYTHING under screen level
