Here is the latest addition to the family - pretty little girls.

  • 2 Pre98 Bubba and a Blue Widow.

  • 3 Gallon Pots with Coco and 2" Perlite at the bottom.

  • Using Canna Coco Nutes @ 1/2 strength / CalMag at Full Strength

  • R/O Water from The Water Store

  • 150 HPS and 2 florecents secured to the side of the tent

  • 4" Exhaust Fan pulling out of the room into garage

  • Temps range from 84-87 right now.

  • My plan is to LST them.

I will try to keep a little journal going and see hot it goes - I can't wait for fucking Fall!

He is right. Its not ideal, but in Veg they can tolerate above 90.

What's key is when you flip to Flower as you are essentially simulating Fall - then you want the temps below 80. With that said, if you add artificial CO2 you can even flower very successfully above 80.

Nope. People need to stop pussying their plants. This plant cang row at 100 degrees just fine. Just add more fans. Stagnant air and high humidity is the enemy.
What dispensary you growing at ? That guy in Colo who wrote 2 books on cannabis cultivation that you are growing for sure knows how to hire. I guess LV and the dispensary owner are not concerned about root zone temps..

With normal levels of CO2, in a well vented space, 90 degrees would seem to be the absolute max, while 85 may be closer to optimum, even with a great deal of light available. Do not let the room temperature get over 35 C (95 F) as this hurts growth. Optimal temperature is 27-30 C (80-86 F) if you have strong light with no CO2 enrichment. Less than 21 C (70 F) is too cold for good growth.

Nice looking plants. Whoever you got those clones from must have some idea what they are doing. Except not completely looks like he may have mislabeled one of those pre98s because they look slightly different. Either way they seem to be in proper hands now.

The dude was a Ginger, only God knows what they are capable of totally fucking up!

On a more serious note - they seem to be thriving and have literally grown over night.

Whoever that was who gave me those clones, thank you my friend - i appreciate it.

On a serious note. They are gonna thrive. I am just putting those strains into flower so we shall see what they stratch and how the develop. Those temps will be fine in veg. You just may need to water more often.

The thing to focus most on these plants out here is keeping the root zone cool. If you can do that depending on the strain it should do fine no matter how hot it is outside. My dad did it for 20 years out here before he died. These plants come from hot places all around the world, if you give them some love they will do fine.

Lucious V would disagree he would tell you stop being a pussy with your plants and let them thrive in pots with 100 degree weather indoors, oh and he's going to be growing for a dispensary in town... Go figure
