3 1/2 Month old plants.. Starting to give up?

Flood and drain hydro systems only water from the bottom...they seem to work ok. So do those pots with the water resivoir in the bottom. Not trying to start anything either just saying.

Just a small update.
Bought new pots and soil.
Drilled holes for drainage in the pots, added the soil and transplanted plants.
2 Days into transplant and they still look the same. If anything, I might sense improvement. They stand up more often now.
Leaves are still dying, still going yellow.
any suggestions?

my apollo kit should be coming in within the next week.

lets see some pics. what kind of soil?
they take time to recover and with your lighting they will take longer. just need to give them some time man.
at this point you might want to think about getting some new seeds planted so they are sprouted when the light comes in, and you will see a huige difference in how the new plants grow compared to how your current ones are growing.

oh and you will want to start off with the Metal Halide bulb and set your timer to 18 hours on 6 hours off.

I used regular fertilized indoor soil that feeds plants up until 6 months. That way I can discard the nutrients I was giving them.
Considering I only have the 2x4' fls and the apollo mh bulbs coming in, would that be enough to supply 3 more plants sufficiently?
I still have my most important seeds saved (WW, PH , BLACKDIESEL) for the time i'm definitely confident in my growing.

18/6 matters when its on/off? I plan on turning off at 12pm to 6pm, that way when the 12/12 schedule comes around I can continue from 12pm and extend to 12am.

I would go ahead and pull off all that dead/ damaged shit. If its not healthy then IMO its not helping the plant. Also like Retired said give it a little time, it can take several days after a transplant to start growing well again depending on the stress levels. Your plants were also already stressed so I'm sure that will cause them to take a little longer too.

and you really should start getting into the habbit of filling your pots up with soil, leaving them 1/2 empty is not a good practice. if you have a big pot utilize the space it has.

Tell me something , what possessed you to do that? Why didnt you throw it against the wall as well.
Start again,get better lighting, get some fans in there they are covered in mildew and only repot with the soil and rootball intact.

not only is your comment illiterate, but it's sarcastic in a point that doesn't make sense.
I looked up methods to cure root bound and found the best solution in my case, prior to what I have.
My roots were growing along the soil in different directions. I simply tapped the rootball to let the excess soil fall out allowing the roots to grow outwards before i transplanted.

Now, is the difference between gently shaking and throwing against a wall made clear to you now?

I want to add alpha you've commented about them being rot bound. By defenition if they were root bound then there wouldn't have been any loose soil. Transplanting to a larger pot, preferably a full one like retired said, is a normal part of growing, but they should not have been root bound.

dont worry about that dude, i have seen him around here and never really seen him post anything helpfull. he is either a dink or he is spreading mis information....

i wouldnt have transplanted if i were you but whats done is done.,

With any luck maybe it will help encourage them to have all the extra root space. Like you said whats done is done.

Advanced nutes is made in canada !!

SOme of the best weed in the world comes from canada, so I'm sure there are many great options, just a case of finding a decent hydro shop, or buying online. If you live any where remotely close to Toronto, there is an AMAZING shop right on younge st I think. Its THC (toronto hemp company) 3 story store, top floor is glass and shit, second floor has more glass and alot of hemp clothes and other non marijuana related products ie soaps and stuff. Then my favorite the bottom floor is a full grow shop. There are also a half a dozen other grow shops in that area its called youngsterdam. I got to go to a 420 rally there about 4 years ago, was amazing. Theres actually pics in my journal, some where around page 30 i think. Any way I'm toasted sorry for rambling.

we've got dozens of weed shops down here, but nothing promoting marijuana growth.
there's alot on the DLow here though. I just moved in 8 or so months ago.
now i'll definitely keep an eye out.

yeah as for the nutes, i searched wal-mart and a couple home hardwares. thus, my conclusion is that Canada has no nutes.

plenty of places online for you to order nutrients.

Day 5 after the transplant,
the plant itself seem to be drooping with the leaves now in the 2nd and 3rd plant.
Most leaves are starting to curl and yellow at the tips.
this is bs.

any suggestions?

your going to have to just give it time. less is more right now for you just leave it alone and they might come around. to be honest the plant may just be ready to give up and die at this point. its way past its normal life cycle for vegatative growth and it has been stressed out alot in the past few days.

like i said earlier you may be better off just starting some new seeds once your light comes in and starting over. im sure the plants you have currently can be nursed back to good health but a new seedling will probabally flourish much better then the 4 month old plants you have now.
