2x500w blackstar scrog 33 days in flowering when will buds fatten?

Hey all! This is my first indoor grow and first led grow. Got some bubblicious and super skunk in flower rights now under some blackstar 500's 33 days in. Buds are looking super frosty but skinny. When do buds start putting on weight? Also any advice on height for the lights? Link to grow in sig.

They will start to look nice in about 3 weeks.

Now is about the time they usually pack on, but this pic makes me think its just not a high yielding strain, its focusing more on trich production IMO. They should plump a little though.

Agreed with the previous posters, the first few weeks is when the pistils form where all of the calyx clusters (the bud) will form, the last 2-3 weeks before the harvest are when your bud puts on the nice girth to it, reffered to as the calyx swelling stage, Goodluck Godbless

some strains, mostly indica doms i find, the buds at 4-5 weeks or so look pretty sparse, they have clumps of buds forming but do not meet up until week 6 onward
from week 6-9 they pack on all the weight this is when the buds meet up and colas are formed i call these late bloomers

skunk strains that are sativa doms can often produce colas right at the start early bloomers at 4 weeks the plants have colas all over them
or it maybe just a lower yielding pheno that does not produce colas at all, but clumps of buds covered in heavy resin some of these plants can make very potent personal keepers

well I sure hope I got some wall flower late bloomers! Any suggestions on a heavy yielding stable strain? There are so damn many and every one has a different opinion.

I heard Blue Dream is a very high yielder.
