pix of multiple plants in one pot and how they was developing in one of my old threadsjust transplanted them....feels like a bitch to pull those plants out of the dirt...how long do you think they need to recover?

Yes I have tried it and the plants shade each other out and you end up with 2 half plants that look like they were split down the middle with no branches and leaves on one side and like you said you get the same results with 2 plants in a 5 gal container that you would get with 1 plant in a 3 gallon. Not only is it twice the amount of plant(s) for the same yield which would make no sense but using your yields you stated you could have also taken those 2 plants that were in one 5 gal container and instead put them in their own 2 separate 3 gal container and yielded double the amount withthe same amount of plants....make sense?

a week at most. Once roots are damaged it sends signals to the plants that it need new ones so the plant will respond almost immediately with new root growth.just transplanted them....feels like a bitch to pull those plants out of the dirt
i seperated my plants just about 2weeks ago now wouldnt recommend doing it as knowing how roots grow they spread outwards toward the edge of the pot then down... It was a hassle getting the plants seperated and they were already 3 weeks old seems to be surviving after a week of nothing new growth started from the bottom of the plant and top aswell...

its easy as hell if you tip the container and pour plain water over it while you use your hand. id also suggest watering it with superthrive or any other vitamin b type fert. it helps keep the plant from going into shock and it encourages fast root development.

ahahaha, I've grown 2 clones in 1 pot, reveged them and they both grew, just 1 ended up being bigger than the other.
I have them in the veg box with 4 42 watt 6500k cfls
Will put them under the 400 watt hps if I feel they're worthy to flower.
Mine are only a couple days old from poppin'

No bud... I said I got the same results PER PLANT, for example, Each plant yielded about 1.5 zips. I do one, two, three, or four per pot all the time, but to each their own, whatever works for you

it really depends on the size of the pot i once grew 8 in a 50 gallon pot with a little LST and they grew fine and got tons of weed off them and it was all killer dank...so all i can say is try it and if you don't like the results go back to one to a pot..... life is about experimentation....worse that will happen is you wont like the results or you will have to start over...

There's no difference between 2 plants in a pot and 20 plants in an ebb and flow tray. Right?

if they are tangled roots pick the one you like and kill the other. from my last grow i learned that the hard way. 2 plants in one pot put out less bud than one plant in a single pot...
