NOTE to all growing white rhino in the AG -( ONLY USE AG HOOD LIGHTS DURING SEEDLING STAGE) [/COLOR]

They really were not ready for all that light/heat. The roots are exploding every lights off time. Im gonna have to take Pic updates much more often if they start growing this fast. (taking pix now will post shortly)

If I have not said it already Thanks man...and I love this site for all the info it shares.

If I would have just asked around I would have listened to dumb ish like " Make sure you plant one small seed and one big one cause the small one is the male and the big one is the female and you need them both or the plant wont grow"...:lol:lmao If it wasnt for this site I would have been like "4real?!? ok ok good looking" lol :dunce:

So THANKS Sicc & all RIU veterans & mods

I just got my Fox Farm trio.

but my GROW BIG didnt have that plastic thing under the cap (the saftey seal) do you think its ok or should I bitch and try to get a refund. the bottle is full though. The Tiger bloom and the big bloom were sealed.

I was going to start using them next week.

Each plant acts different with the nutes, i would just flush the rex and let them sit in pH'd water for a couple day then go bac to the nutes, but start up small

Hey guys & gals just a quick update....things are going well. I have not done anything else since flushing the res. I only have filtered Ph balanced water (6.0). I turned off the CFLs to reduce the heat stress and the plants like it. the little plant still has some brown on the bottom set of leaves and i think it is stunted due to the nutrient burn. if it doesnt get better by this weekend I will start them on the Fox Farm schedule

they were looking good this morning but i think the PH just went up and the a lil droopy and the some how the nute burn is spreading to the upper leaves of the lil plant (im not using any nutes right now just PH'd water)

Im just gonna flush tomorrow and add the Fox farm...no need starving the healthy plant cause the other is a bitch. I let someone borrow my camera for the holidayz but will have new pix on sunday

------when should i turn my cfls back on. I keep trying to and the start drooping after about an hr then i turn them back off. its like they dont like the extra lighting...perfectly happy with just the stock AG bulbs

Well if you haven't use any nutes, its from the pH being off, once you start at 1/4 strength, it should help the pH stay stable and the other should pic bac up, as for the lights, try moving them farther from the plants, its the heat that makes them droop.

Here are some pics

I just switched them to fox farm. I mixed 1 tsp of grow big and 2 tsp of big bloom in a gallon of water then used PH up & down to get the PH to just below 6.0. I did this yesterday.

as you can see the smaller plant has some spots on the upper leaves now. I am not sure what to do about it after giving it fresh water (no nutes) for a week and it just got worse. I got them on the Fox Farm now so we will see how it goes. the other plant is looking pretty healthy. and they are starting to have a faint smell to them :leaf:

Flush the rex and just leave her for a 2 days, you dont do that for a week, then start at 1/4 strength like i stated before..

so Do I give it any water at all? or starve them? (sorry if its a dumb question)

also 1/4th strength??? the FF schedule said 1 tsp of grow big and 2 tsp of big bloom so do I chop that by 1/4??? I just wanna clarify

Thanks Sicc

Flush the rez, and rinse it out ok, lol, then fill it bac up with plain water, pH'd adjusted, and let her chill for a 2 day or so, then, when you start bac up, add the nutes at 1/4 strength, dont follow those charts, their just a basic guide line to follow, people usually make their own schedule, then every week just slowly bring it up higher and higher, and then you can look at those charts and adjust it a lil bit into what your doing, stains are always different, some can take a shit load, and some not that much, you will kno whats good after a couple weeks, you'll get the feel to it, its all about experimenting, but starting it slow at fist
