2nd Journal Pull up a Chair

After five months off I'm back in the basement trying to work some green thumb magic.

If you haven't checked out my old grow it's in the sig, the ebb and grow is gone and I'll be all dirt from here on out. I mixed up a batch of supersoil in the summer and I will be using it 50/50 with roots in 5 gal smart pots (I know I'm supposed to have 7 gallon pots but 5 will have to work this time around).

Right now I have GH kings kush (4), DNA sour cream (2), Serious white russian, GH cheese all feminized and I have one TGA 3D that I'm really hoping doesn't drop nuts.

They are all about ten days along and should be getting transplanted into the smart pots shortly.

Everyone's input is welcome but lets try to keep any name calling to a minimum.

I forgot lighting and temps.

They are under a 24/0 light schedule with a four lamp t-5 right now and when I transplant I will fire up the 1k and go 20/4. Just put the MH bulb back in the other day and did a test run, its a lumatek digital and I'm wondering if I should turn it down to 600w for the first week of the switch?

Temps are good right now staying in between 72 and 80; however, even with running the humidifier in my room I can't get the humidity above 35%.

I was wondering why my third dimension plant looked a little funny and after further inspection its a polyploid or at least I think that's what it's called. It has three lateral branches at each node. Well here is a pic to show what I'm talking about.:bigjoint:

yes definitely start them at 600w in the early stages then later bump up the power. looks great, how many watts total are you running and whats your total grow space, also are you using co2??

Only a 1k, my room is in a walled off part of the basement. The room is huge but I try to keep every thing within 5 x 5 (ideally 4x4) area so the plants get enough light coverage. No co2 till I get a new house, I have a tent but its a couple inches too tall for my basement.

Thanks Hellraiser, I got one more pick to put up and then I'm going to bed. Brownies are kicking my ass tonight.

Well I just topped the two sour creams in an effort to keep some control over the canopy. I'll get some more pics up here soon.

Got the light hooked up, the hood sucks so I need to replace it before summer cause if not I'll cook my plants. I also need to throw my hps bulb into the old 1k now that they are switched. The Jury is still out on the 3d, the sour creams are getting tall, the white russian is looking real good, the kings kushes are doing their thing, and the cheese well its got the biggest fan leaves I've seen so stay tuned it should get interesting in the next couple weeks.
