2nd grow set up

Hey guys im back for a second grow my first go around was rough and very ghetto i ended in my attic sweating my ass off more than getting any results . This time around ive built a 1ft wide 1ft deep and 2ft tall frame out of pvc and made something to hold all my cfls in place . Im going to be using MG potting soil starting in solo cups with 100 watts of cfl to start off with and adding more up to 300 watts as i go . I have a couple of simple questions though, first off my pvc frame is in my closet but it doesnt have any walls around it yet so the light just goes everywhere in my closet i added a homemade reflector hood to focus more of the light down on my plants instead of filling my closet with light what im getting to is since i dont have anything keeping the lights in the area im growing will it cause any real problems ? I plan on fixing the problem before they turn 2 weeks old . Another question is will 300watts of cfl be enough for 3 plants ? I only want to veg for about 3-4 weeks or till they are about 1ft tall . I took a few pictures of my set up and hope i can get some answers so i can get a yeild this time since my first grow was a fail lol . Thanks guys

3 2ft plants in a 1'x1' space is very crowded, id recommend a sog style grow if ur tryna make the most of your space. Also id look into a 250w hps, ull see far superior results than 300w of cfl. And u can wrap that whole pvc frame up in some mylar and ull be golden just make u leave a spot where u can access the plants. And as far as the light spreading everywhere goes., it shouldnt be an issue for the first couple of weeks.

Yeah I agree with jussbla for my self i think that a plant ea should have 150w but that's me. I currently have 4 plants under a 1000w hps bulb. On my second grow. My first grow didn't go to well id say. I started blindly and didn't even feed it nute until 4 weeks into flowering I just grew it out of my basic knowledge that I've learned in the past farming a little. It didn't die i still have it growing it's just an utterly disappointment looking at it haha maybe I'll show you what I mean I'll post a pic after work.

ive got the same size grow space as you and chose to have only 1 plant in there.

Im busy finishing my cab off maybe a week or so until I pop a seed in to germinate.

Preciate all of the help guys im probably going to go ahead and go with 2 plants or maybe a sog ive never tried that before tho so im kinda hesitant ill have to do some reading on it but 9/10 im just going to put 2 plants in there and eventually expand cause its not but 5-10$ to get some more pvc and make my frame bigger . & id LOVE to get a hps but moneys kinda tight (basically why im growing my stuff instead of buying it lol) i hope this time i actually get something off of them even though they are just bag seeds . Ive been really wanting to get some good seeds offline but the whole thing seems kinda sketch to me if i were to get some offline i think id use herbies has anyone had bad experiences with them ? Id rather not drop 50$ on seeds then have my shit taken by sum pigs

One more question guys whats a good nute that i could pick up at the hardware store ? Or is having MG superbloom potting soil enough watering with plain water ?

I get my beans from sensible seeds, never had an issue. Also id look into the fox farms trio of nutes to get started or go on amazon and order general hydroponics go box, will have everything u need.

Just remember the n-p-k ratio. Veg u want a higher n something like 10-5-5 and for bloom u want more p k so something like 5-10-10 (10-5-5 and 5-10-10 are just examples.
