What’s up guys this is gonna be my second indoor grow. Here is a list of the main equipment and nutrients I will be using.

Coolgrows 2x4 Tent
Apollo Horticulture 4in 190CFM Duct fan
Box fans, little fans

Grow Light: Optic 2 LED

Seeds I’ll be running are Canuck Seeds Feminized Green Crack and the freebie Afghans I got.

Medium: Tupur Coco and perlite mix

Nutrients: Earth Juice Green Reign All Purpose 5-5-5, Earth Juice Verde Fire Bloom 0-9-3, and some worm castings. I will also be using a small bottle of URB for this grow too.

Miscellaneous: Ph and PPM meter, Ph up/down, Mycorrhizae powder, bucket and a bubbler (for declorination and teas), etc etc y’all get the gist

I am doing an Organic Coco grow for this run, what I did was amend my coco with a ratio of 75% all purpose 5-5-5 and 25% Verde Fire Bloom.

I germinated the seeds using the paper towel method and all seeds popped within a day or two.
This morning I planted them into solo cups and watered them at a Ph of 6.8 with .5ml of URB.

My goal right now is to keep the microbiology thriving and have an ideal environment for my plants to grow. I will try to keep the medium moist but not drenched at all times and I will water with a Ph between 6.5 - 6.8.

Ill have pictures of my setup soon
Any advice is appreciated :blsmoke:

Seedlings are 3 days from transplant.

Germinated then on June 21st all popped within a day or 2. Green Crack pheno #2 was first to breach the soil then came green crack #1 and the Afghani #2. The afganhi #1 still hasn’t breached.

Lights are 44in away from canopy. I will bring it closer if I notice any stretch I’m pretty confident in this optic 2. It’s one powerful ass light that’s for sure.

Temps are about 78°F near the the lights
Not to sure what the RH is right now, need to grab a battery for my meter first.

I took out the box fan and added a humidifier that also moves a good amount of air but keeps it at a decent RH.

What do you guys think about my setup?

I am hoping for some good genetics if not I got some seeds that I made from bag seed that I have on deck.

Also am hoping that afganhi is a female

Wish me luck :weed:

Raised the seedlings so the light is at 36in which is the manufactures recommended height all looks good. Afgahn #1 still hasn’t popped might toss her outside in the dirt to grow. Only want strong fast genetics for this grow.

Average Day Temp 79°F
Night Temp 71°F
rH 55%

The other Afghan didn’t breach so I replaced it with seeds I bred last year. They were the same strain don’t know what it is but this was the mother flower.
Here’s a pic of it in early flower.

Day 9 from planting July 2nd 2019

Seedlings are coming along nicely.
My homegrown seed just popped out the soil today. From my experience growing that seed it’s always been very hardy genetics looking forward to it.
Going to my local hydro store to pick up some things like EWC, kelp meal, bat guano and a 5gal bucket for teas.

Here’s some pics of the plants

Also wanted to mention that I just planted my homegrown seed straight into the soil and popped within a day or 2 not bad. They’ve been kept in my mini fridge for a while too.

You're off to a nice start!

Are you using a spray bottle to water your seedlings? Do you spray the medium more than once a day?

Yes I do use a spray bottle to water and I mist the plants about once or twice a day.
I mist the medium when I noice it’s starting to get dry I also go by the weight of the cup.
Some days I give a decent watering when I know temps are gonna be high.
I feel like I have it pretty dialed in.

The first pic seems like it’s already showing signs of nitrogen deficiency or could just be new growth I upped the watering a little to see if it would fix it. Been a little lazy will have better updates soon.

I’ll be watching along and hoping for the best.
I was unlucky on my freebie Afghani’s, one turned out to be male, and the second never popped.
Looks good so far though!

Thanks! Hopefully I’m lucky with my afganhi and my homegrown seed. They both seem promising. I appreciate you watching :bigjoint:

Just got done setting up my compost tea maker.
Declorinated water for more than 24 hours.
Using organic honey as catalyst added 2tbs
1cup EWC
1/2cup alfalfa meal
1/4 cup bat guano

Fed the seedlings a little bit of the compost tea today. I suggest wearing gloves when handling the sock of compost tea ingredients cause it smells like arse and the smell sticks for a little lol. Gave the rest to my outdoor plant.

Was looking at the medium before watering with compost tea and I noticed a lot of fuzzy stuff in the soil which indicates it’s should be thriving in microbial activity.

Will post pictures later, happy growing :bigjoint:

Just a couple of photos couldn’t upload the other Greencrack but it’s fine.
Nothing much going on but thinking about transplanting to a bigger pot in probably a week.

Help! So the plants have a slight problem not to worried but would like to get it solved ASAP or at least know what I’m dealing with.

Problems are leaf curling on the first plant and the other plants seem to be a very light green, like there could be a deficiency in nitrogen. Maybe ph problems.

Temps do get a little high during lights on max on the meter said 85°F, lights off around 68-70°F

I water with tap water that I bubble for more than 24-36hrs ph the water to about 6.5-6.8

The medium I’m using is a coco based medium that is cleaned and has basalt in it called Tupur by Royal Gold.
I ammeded the medium with a 75/25% ratio of Earth Juice 5-5-5 all purpose and Earth Juice Verede Fire Bloom 0-9-3

I also misted them during lights on but I stopped because I feel like that could have been the problem with the curling because the light gets magnified by the water etc etc.

I also recently fed them a Compost tea just to get the microbes a boost. It contained 1cup ewc, .5cup alfalfa meal, 1/4th cup of high phosphorus bat guano. Bubbles for 24hrs then fed a little to them. Not pH’ed

I water whenever they feel light or when the first inch or two of soil is dry.
I don’t let it get bone dry.

When I water the run off ph comes to about 7.0-7.2.

July 14th 2019, Day 21

Transplanted then today, I didn’t think the root system was this developed! Nice white and healthy. Sprinkled a little bit of mycorrhizae powder on the roots and gave a little water after transplant.

I noticed it wasn’t growing as fast so I decided to transplant. Here’s some pics.

Working on ventilating this grow outside my window but looking for a diy or something to buy that looks discrete like a dryer vent.

Everything is looking really great, the plants are taking off.
Had a issue with my Optic 2 the timer wasn’t accurate do to user error but it didn’t affect the plants negatively I caught it early.

Finally hooked up the exhaust out the window, it looks nice and discrete, not really that noticeable.

I’m thinking of topping the plants today or later this week. They all are at or past their 4th node and growth is coming in strong and fast.
I will also be doing a little bit of lst and supercropping.

I’m not sure how long the amended nutrients in the coco will last but I will top dress in probably 3 weeks or so
Here’s some pics

Two on the left are green cracks
Upper right is afgahn and lower right is a bagseed that I grew last year
