Heres my grow journal. Still dont really know what Im doing but using this to keep track of everything and hopefully get some insights from the more experience.

Currently at day 25.

Soil: Using and organic seed starting mix with no nutrients.

Nutrients: Dyna-Gro foliage Pro. Used for the first time 4 days ago and 1/4 tsp per gallon. Used again for my watering yesterday.

Lighting: 4) 23w 5000k cfl with 24/0. All under one 10" round reflector so 90%+ of the light is going to the plant. Going to add two more 23w side lights and gradually reduce to 18/6.

PH: Just adjusted again and its measuring 6.0 for the runoff.

See the leaves margins are getting pronounced time to place a small pc type fan in there, the thick veins in the leaf are an indication you are over watering, feel the weight first

@2004play Thanks! Its hollister kush.

@vostok I actually thought I was underwatering for the most part. I do go by weight and I just switched over from solo cups like 6 days ago to its current pot. Ill wait one more day next time. Also, I do have a 6" fan in there, I just dont have it blowing directly on the plant. I did have it blowing on the plants my last grow but it seemed to kill them. Thought I did it from the beginning and maybe they were too young? Appreciate the feedback btw! Still working my way through everything. Do you think the 4 lights are enough right now?

I'd be happier if you had mixed in some perlite in with the soil 3-5-% is good, but as you have just potted up from the solo cups, then you have ample nute in with that soil avoid feeding at all for 3-4 weeks, then come in with the nutes once all that free food that came wit the soil is used up.(3-4 weeks)

Important for you to understand how plants breathe, (and how growers don't know this) very rare in nature to have NO wind, to wash the used air/gas away from the leaf, thats why 'we' have a fan ....should you ever feel you need to do something and old and young alike get this, look into foilar feeding, that way you can't actually screw the grow up!

1/4 nute to a pint spray bottle, fill with warm water shake and spray 1-2 times per day, also same volume of Neem Oil to a pint bottle shake and spray 1x per week to avoid bugs and mold

good luck "V"

@vostok

Thanks. When I repot Ill add some perlite in the mix. I also moved the fan to blow directly on it. Ill also look into the foliar feeding and the neem oil tonight as well.

"I'd be happier if you had mixed in some perlite in with the soil 3-5-% is good"...should read 30-50% perlite is good, sorry mistyped ...

@vostok i figured as much. Ill probably just go 100% perlite or similar next round.

This is day 27. Just topped in prep for 4way lst. Watered today with 1/4 tsp of folliage pro per gallon.

@GuitarSlinger059 just saw, nice. Hopefully we can learn from each other along the way. My mistake this round was watering with nutrients two times in a row. I know I read to do water, water, nutes but I figured that since I was using 1/4 strength I would be fine. Plus @vostok told me not to use nutes because I just repotted but of course I didnt listen. I flushed this out yesterday and the first sign of the burn.

Day 29

Ahh good tip. . I'm at the point where I think I'm ready to flower... Also I just started using nutes but got a hold of some fox farms ocean forest and moved them to 7 gallon smart pots.. Also, since I moved them to new soil I won't need to use nutes for a couple weeks... What do u think? Think they are ready to switch?:hump:

^^^ Give it at least a week man... And really more than that would be good to let the root mass really fill out, she'd reward you in yield. Good luck to both of you.

Long break in between updates but a lot going on lately. Not looking to great... I fed with 1/4 tsp of dyna gro folliar per gallon and getting runoff of 6.5. Still looks like its getting burned somehow even though its 52 days old at this point. Temps range from 81-69.

Lighting: Was only using the same 4 23w cfls and just switched yesterday to the 180w Vipar led. The temps range 79-69 now.

Is this something other than n burn? I wait til its dried out to water but think Im actually waiting too long between watering and am stressing it out. I will be repotting next week to a larger pot as well.

The first pic shows some yellow dead leaves on the plant. Remove them. Yellow attracts bugs. Also, to me they look over-watered. Soggy soil maybe? The roots aren't getting enough o2. Someone...Vostok said something about perlite being added to the soil. You should do that too.

Major problems!

I replanted on Tuesday with a 50/50 mix of organic mix and perlite. Made sure there were tons of holes for drainage as well. Measured the runoff and it was 6.5. Havent watered since tuesday and the soil from original pot is still damp so Im holding off on watering. The top 2-3 inches of the new pot are dry though. Just want to make sure the roots get the oxygen they need. Now the plant looks worse than ever but think its due to the stress from repotting. Should I do any nutrients? The leaves are turning yellow and dying from the bottom up. From what I read thats a lack of N but I just repotted so theres nutrients in the new soil. What should I do?

On a side note the leaves seem to be raising slightly so I think the drainage is much better now.
