2nd Grow. Big Mama and her babies.

2nd grow now. Took a clone off this beauty to start it all off with a mama.

The clone was taken in the first week of flower so the leaves started off quite weird for the first few days. She rooted in 5 days and grew like crazy so I don't think it went through much stress. So we should be good to go.

From about here on she started to grow with a fury and put out some normal looking leaves lol.

Then... The jungle began.

This pic ^^ is before I took 7 clones and the right one is after cutting clones, tying down some more and pruning a few fan leaves. Still a jungle. Soon I will have the entire lid covered with a green skeleton

Took 7 clones 5 days ago.. The second pic is 2 days after taking them.

center gal has 1 inch roots today that she didn't have yesterday! and most of the others have roots popping out now. time to transplant some.

mother and babies are now in the closet and i changed lights from 24 to 18/6. gonna get a little clone veg time in then we're hittin flower. filled the cloner back up as well. I wanna build a small cabinet for vegging while the cabinet is in flower. It has two sections but they aren't separated light wise.

I also think it's going to be a beast. I just hope i select the right nodes to clone from so I can have a sea of monster colas! hehe. in about a week it will be stretched from one side to the other. but of course the one side is gonna have bigger colas! ha. gonna try to lollipop selectively because there are actually two layers of stems going towards the other side lol.

i'm only using the general hydroponics 3-part flora series. looking in to changing to organics so i'm just using the rest of the general for this grow. Know anything about organic hydro? I have a worm bin at home so worm tea is free

I also pick off around 5 - 20 fan leaves a day but every day there are more of the same size. it's ridiculous to manage this canopy hahaha.

Here's where we are right now about 1-2 weeks more and we're flippin to 12/12

Here's the cloner. 4 in the back were cut 2 days ago and the three in the front have rooted and are obviously starting to put out shoots. I'll get them into a small bin soon for a smaller clone machine.

Ha. thanks they do work well. but the plants care more about the love you give them rather than the nutrients hahaha. I think I might just change to the 2 part FloraNova series after these bottles.

here we go. 10 vs. 1!

I counted over 60 individual tops today. By the time she's hardcore into flower i'll prolly only have 50-60 then. Can't wait to see and smell my mama!

That's her right after some more pruning and training. Her canopy will start at about 3-4" high and be all single tops. I'm gonna lollipop from 3" down. can't wait for this one to fill in! mucho buds. Watcha guys think?

haha thanks bro. we've been in flower for 10 days now and she's already showed signs and the stretch has slowed. by next weekend we'll definitely be seeing some buds

BTW it took an hour today tediously tying down tops and pruning to get here. That's what happens when you take a month and a half old and try to keep it lying down lol.

hurricane sandy is hitting right now! I hope I don't lose power for my girls but i'm sure I will. How do you guys supplement light when the power is out?? I'm sure somebody has had this problem before.

well the lights came on for 2 hours then the power went out yesterday so my gals had a short day yesterday lol. hopefully it doesn't mess them up too bad but luckily the power came back on 2 hours before the lights come on anyway. so one day shouldn't mess up their cycles. here's to hoping

did some lollipopping tonight. all the tops are single colas with no side buds except for the few around the edge that can afford the space requirement.

just added a 4 bulb 48" t8 fixture to the door for some sidelighting for both top and bottom chambers. only dealing with 4100k bulbs currently. will be buying some 2700k tubes soon however. So that's another 128w of fury! lol
