2nd grow, 1st journal: CFL bagseed

Okay, this is my first time doing one of these but I will be as detailed as possible while providing photos every day of the plants. Even though this is my second grow, I have put many, many hours of research into making as close to perfect grow box. Luckily, I have an old television stand that has been collecting dust in my garage for some time so I made use of it.
I started off by flipping it on its side and cutting holes in the back for ventilation and holes to run the cords for the lights. I have 2 3" computer fans for the intake and 1 4" computer fan for exhaust. (I plan on getting an 8" fan from Wal-Mart next time I go. haha) I then put up white poster board on the walls and put a white trash bag on the bottom (In picture shows white printing paper, I changed it a few moments ago. haha) But that was all I had to do. I then mounted all my lights on two intersecting 1x2's (the lights sit like a cross). I have 3 30-watt CFLs and 2 26-watts as well. I have them setup as shown:

For the next week, I will be running 1 30-watt and both 26-watts. I plan on buying 2 more 26-watts and run two out each of the 26-watt sockets two weeks from now. i have two plants that I planted 2 days ago and they have yet to sprout but I'm not expecting them to for another 2-3 days. I had looked up ways to get more Co2 into my grow box for the vegetative stage, and found an easy homemade Co2 generator with a 2-liter soda bottle, 6 cups water, 1 teaspoon of yeast, and 1 cup sugar. I made mine with a 1-gallon milk container. And that's about it, I'll post more pictures in 3 days.

Sounds great bro, I'll be starting my second CFL grow today as well. I'll make sure to check back, so we can compare grows. BTW i used an old dresser as well. Question: where you get your lampholders im short on them.

I happened to luck out and have a few old lamps in my house that weren't being used and took mine from those. But on one of my trips to Lowes, I saw that they carry light sockets for $2-3 each.

Wow we're using the same box type and lighting. Now, your telling me your tearing old lamps up like me. Very similar.

Great minds indeed. Im wondering if your homemade co2 will be strong enough to see change in plants.

I'm hoping so, I've read a few other journals that have said it helps with stem growth while the vegging. The concoction is supposed to be changed every 2 months but I'll only be using it for 3 weeks.

Okay, I know I said I would post pictures every 3 days or so, but fuck it I'm happy to say that on the third day of being in soil, my babies are starting to sprout.
I'm thinking by the end of the day, they'll be showing there first set of leaves. Might be hard to see but that's why I circled the areas the look at.

You can get the light socket things at walmart also but they are only 97cents.

My friend tryed that co2 concoction but he got fruitflys pretty quickly or some other sort of bugs from that.

yo bushdoctor, i just started a similar grow (CFLs on some bag seed while i'm waiting for my shipment of Attitude seeds) and i'm also on Day 3. My lil' babies are looking exactly like yours! Good luck with the grow man... I'll be keepin' track and be right there along with ya in my grow

hey there man just figured i wuold come and check out this journal of yours....Everything is looking good in there man.... I topped mine right above the 4th cola last night but i think that i did a fim and not a st8 top lol..Hopfully it works for the best..i did get a osolating fan in there but i still need to get a intake fan to raise down that temp a little my baby is starting to curl up and shit and i am not lliking the look of it at alllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
