Hello,
I'm sure the title says enough, questions or comments, lay em on me.

The Setup

(After Germination)

The First to pop out

The Second to pop up

Plant 1

Plant 2

Thats all i have for now, the last pictures were literally like twenty minutes ago, I'm sorry about the focus, i bought a new camera and it always seems to focus on the object behind the one i want. Sorry, hopefully I'll get that figured out. :dunce: I REAAAAAALLLLY NEED TO WORK ON MY PICTURES. LOL.

How did your first grow go?
Ill just give you the last picture taken before she got stolen.

Before the outdoor heist.

In the five Gallon. (Just before the plant was taken outside to flower, real small pic)

I ended up having to move the plant outside eventually, cause i ran out of room to flower inside, eventually someone stumbled upon it and decided to take it, i was pretty upset. after she moved outside she pirked up and started showing pistols (sorry no pics) This time, if i have to, im making extra rooml lolz. im never letting another MF take my baby girl. Essentially, i found a bad place to flower, so now im gonna try a whack at flowering inside.

Here is an attempt at a better picture of my current plants

just a couple of thoughts -

what soil mix are you using? i ask because it looks like straight dirt which could use some perlite added to improve drainage and aeration. maybe too late for this grow but next time...

since this is your first time flowering inside you are going to find you'll want more light for flowering successfully. about 100 watts of cfl per sq foot of growing space.

I mixed my own, that is simply top soil, when i start veg i use 1/3 perilite, peat, and black potting soil. what you are seeing is black top soil that i added today to burry the plant to the leaves (notice the different soil levels). And i do know that i will need at least double my output to yield anyhting, im very much aware of this, thanks.

UPDATE

Plant 1 (Left) Plant 2 (Right)

Plant one decided to stretch more at the beginning. But now its the one showing the most vigorous growth. Its hardly noticeable form the picture but the second set of true leaves are coming in on both plants. I wish i could chant something to amke these things grow faster.

Might I suggest a reflector of some kind to regain all those lumens you're losing to the ceiling? Also, training might help you maximise the space you have. LST and ScrOG are popular for keeping height low. I haven't pic updated in a while, but feel free to poke thru the two logs in my sig and ask any questions you may have.

Good luck and dense nugs, bro. Hope it goes well for you. :leaf:

I have thought about but have not worried about a reflector because im afraid of residual heat. Im worried that a reflector would not help out for temperatures at all, but it would help out for light placement, alot.

cfl's and reflectors do little. you just can't pick up much useable light with cfl's. Think of it this way. You place cfl's about 2" off the plant. you put a reflector even one inch over the light. say 3-4 back to the plant. a little mylar or space blanket on the walls."Dang, Just snaped a pic but can't find the usb for my camra Will post soon. lol I hope."

Well this is before my new light setup all the way up to the new setup, before the girls got a hiarcut. and before my first feeble attempt at cloning, which seems to be working. My clone is being dont in peat, topped with aobut 1/4 inch perilte to retain moisture. i used honey as a rooting hormone, and i have been misting 3-4 times a day, and today is day five on the "clone". I read it was kinda hard to clone in soil without a rooting hormone, and also read that honey has anti-microbial properties. I honestly dont want to hear about how i can do better with my clone, cause at this point, without a mother cloning is not my focus, im just screwing around with it. i otherwise would have just thrown the top away, so why not experiment?

Before the changes:

After the changes:

The "Clone"

The overall new setup:

I guess lay it on me. Again, keep in mind, the "clone" is a complete shot in the dark experiment.

EDIT: i finally found my macro/close up setting for my camera, and am still trying to figure out how to use it correctly.
