2lb bho run w/hot water bath purge, help?!

I won't bore anyone with extreme detail I have here pictured a run of some fresh trim mostly popcorn and shake high quality. 2lbs. About 50 cans of 7x butane ran through(too much?) a thin 18 inch tube into a lukewarm Pyrex. It was kept at around 100° as high as 150 at the statt in a hot water bath on a griddle for the past 14 hours and still sparkles and crackels when lit. Does it need a longer purge possibly at a higher temp? I wanted to keep it as close to wax as possible. Easier to handle IMO. Any input is greatly appreciated. Also what's up with the dark color? It turns gold when whipped but looks very brown before hand. The trim was quality so that's not the issue

Probably traped moisture in the oil

Is there a preferred method for removing the water? Its been on a griddle in a 100-120° hot water bath for a full day I feel like its overkill at this point. There is no sizzle or spark when touched with a flame

Put a lid on it and don't touch it wait for your vacuum oven, purge for a minimum of 24 hours in the oven.

If you can't wait take a small sample and put it in a hot car on the dash for a day or two. Use parchment paper obviously.

Would a diy hand pump with a brake bleeder do it any justice? I could leave it in the bath at 110°. I've also read about leaving it under a 100w for a few hours. I really do appreciate the input thank you!

What pressure and temps are recommended for the vac oven/chamber? I know boiling points go down at the pressures needed so does that mean I would have to stagger my heat source temp?

Hand pump will work, the oil should be warm to help facilitate the butane removal.

I used a baby food jar many years ago with a hand pump, put a couple grams on a piece of parchment paper begin pumping watch slab expand and then collapse in on itself. Water is the enemy here, keep away from moisture. Pump it until your hand hurts then pump some more. Should hold you over tell you get your oven.

Looks a little dark, lay off the heat. Could also be because its thick hard to say.

Ya its two pounds of high quality popcorn and trim in that tiny container but I would not doubt that its burned its extremely thick. Thanks for the quick replies! I will try out the hand pump for now and post a picture when im finished. Next time I will not blast so much at once without a proper set up.

Well if your getting the oven then you should be good but still do it in smaller batches in there. And yes watch the temps. There are some great threads in the concentrate section. Some tables you should look at are the boiling point of THC at different pressures/temps. Wouldn't want to boil away any goodness now lol.
