I have to admit, this is the first thread I've read all the way through from the begining in a while even though its only 6 pages long :) I'm very impressed homie, +REP!

I'm actually in the process of getting a very similar setup together. Same pots, similar training. I have to ask, it looks like you train very similar to the way I do it. Do you top them before you lst or is that straight lst only training? Also I might of missed it but how long do you usually veg for to get that nice bushy plant that not too tall? Thanks for answering these questions. I'm growing in my closet right now "KandyKush" in a 5 gal bucket. You should come take a look, its like a bigger version of your girls :) Anyway I'm planning on downsizing soon and like I said I'm doing a very similar setup. Cfl's same pots only 4 total If I can squeeze them in :) Anyway I'm rambling but great job man.

Oh I forgot to add that I'm using all FF products on my girls and I just started with the beastie bloomz and it seem to work great!

thanks for looking bro. i top all my plants 2 or 3 times then start lst training. from the time i took clones till i started flower was about 5 weeks. the great thing about lst is YOU control the height of your girls, but by doing so you lose square footage.

for my next run i am gonna be expanding and reconfiguring my grow space to be more efficient for my needs. i need approximately 12"x18" per plant and i want to do 4 at a time. my next flower area will be about 52x18x48, with a veg/clone area above it which will be 52x18x31.

Beastie Bloomz works very well!!!! I use it with Botanicare ProBloom, Cal Mag and Liquid Karma.

Those are some great nutes too! I actually have experience with pureblend pro aswell and its great stuff! I might switch back to it when I run out of the fox farms. Its good to know your having success with mixing beastie bloomz with it too!!!

Thats interesting about your grow space vs. size of plants because I plan on doing my girls in the exact same pots and I have more height then anything so maybe single cola grows would be better for me in this cab to run 4 pots at most... Maybe 2 at different stages

My cab is 16"x20"x53" so Idk, Maybe I could squeez 2 of these pots. one of each strain and only top them once and do some nice lst on them... That way they wont take up as much room and I can kind of train them to grow tall... Idk, thanks again for the info though! I have some decision to make lol...

I attached a pic of my KK, I figured you would appreciate it :) I topped her twice and lst'd. She vegged for around 6 weeks and then went into a 5 gal bucket and into flowering! Its amazing what some good training can do:leaf:

that plant is f'n beautiful!!!

i have a theory..... if you dont top the plant you can lst it in a circle around the container efficiently. if you top it first you have only half the room to lst in the container because you have 2 heads leading the lst training rather that just a single head leading.

maybe try 2 or 3 plants with more focus on vertical lst training and not allowing them to grow too much outside of the container since you have the height. its what ill be trying on the next run..

Here's some pics... i think i fed them too much, they have been flushed and all seems to be good. however the 2 that are burnt both had breaks in their stalk earlier on in flowering....

Ok so I got my new box built and in place. Only the flower area is wired up, ventilated and running. The Veg area and clone area both need to be wired but and exhausted which is fine since I don't have clones yet.

The new box dimensions are 53" wide x 78" tall x 22" deep. The Veg area is 40"x30"x22, the Flower area is 40"x48"x22 and the Clone area is 13"x24"x22. Can't wait to get everything on a good cycle to harvest 2 or 3 plants every 3-5 weeks.

And now some pics for ya. Getting close.... about another 10 days to go.

Your plants would be soo much bigger if you were using a hps bulb.
most people only use hps for flowering...so it would more effect the size of his buds..which look just fine to me.a lot of people that use hps still veg with cfl's....but for the limited height you cant beat those plants there

replying to a cfl grow journal telling me i should switch to hps..... as your first post none the less... how bout the following in response....

Your opinion would be valued had you read the entire thread and had a brain.

Well here's some pics of the girls. They are almost done... I was gonna cut down on friday but it's looking like I'll cut down on sunday instead so that my house doesn't smell when family comes over on christmas day. But as you can see in the pics they are pretty much done.
