270W SCROG Hashberry Cabinet

It's been a while since I've been on here. I've been pretty busy, but not too busy for my girls. I made this cab about 2 years ago. I've pretty much got my cabinet down to a science. I'm so happy with this setup that I thought I should post back on the site that gave me all the ideas that made this happen.

I haven't bought any weed for almost a year now and have plenty of hash laying around. It's definitely one of the best investments I've ever made and I have no desire to get any bigger of a set up. I could probably do a little work to improve the cab; but if it's not broke....

I've now grown about 7 different strains and have found my favorite...Mandala's Hashberry. A bushy plant with dense, dense nugs; perfect for my SCROG setup. I love the heavy buzz from this strain, tastes great! I started out growing a pack of the auto-flower plants. I learned a lot from these, but upgrade to a regular strain right after 1 run with the auto-flower. I also got G-13 labs seeds for free with an order a while back, White Widow and Thai -Skunk; they were both shit. I also grew Mandal's Satori; I still have some seeds but this strain didn't impress me. I have 3 mother plants down low in the cab; Greenhouse Lemon Skunk, Greenhouse Neville's Haze, and 2 Hashberry. I'm going to grow the Neville's and Lemon Skunk outdoors this year, probably Hashberry too. I have grown the Lemon Skunk 3 times in the cab and it works well. But the Hashberry is by far my favorite for this cab.

So I'm growing with a 270W agro bulb. They are currently in day 18 of flowering, 3 weeks on Monday. I'll try to remember to post pics every once in a while. Enjoy...bongsmilie

hashberry is a beautiful set of plants. i ended up having3 females out of 5 seeds and they were all only about a foot and half tall, but the most heavy momma was 71 grams after no stretch. gorgeous fuelie goodness(and a little bit of liver and onion)

what amazed me the most was how this bud appeared to melt in my bowl like butter.overall it was the best weed to bong that i have ever come across

PS- I only see like 3 threads that actually use an Aerogarden. Shouldn't most of these be in the general Hydroponic forum? It clearly says "Aerogardeners"; does it not?

@anaestetized I know exactly what you're saying about the Hashberry seeming like it melts in the bong. I love the smell and it really does taste a little like berries with a heel of a kick. This plant is a little bushier than most would want to use for SCROG, but I use all the popcorn nugs on the bottom that don't get much light for hash. The hash made from this plant is by far the best I've ever had.

Those pictures look dam fine to me :D
Never grown hashberry before but I have seeds in the post. I like the sound of its hot climate resistance (I come from Australia where the summers are scorchin).
Also have an aerogarden closet setup looks a lot like yours. Can only hope it turns out as well.
Do I see that you switch to a halide lamp on flower?, If so do you run ac in there with that or does this strain truly love the heat?

Thanks Bigzbudz!

No it's a 250 watt switchable ballast. I flower under a 270 watt agro HPS bulb. I believe 30watts of the 270 gives out the blue spectrum. I veg with a 250W MH. The only time the cab runs a little too hot is in the summer, where it can get up to about 102-105. This is absolutely no problem with Hashberry. I'm going to try growing Hashberry outdoors for the 1st time this year also. This plant is very heat and nutrient efficient. It's also mold and pest resistent from what the package said.

I've smoked a lot of different strains, grown 7 different; and the Hashberry amazes me more and more everytime. This strain is awesome, you gotta try it. I got a pack of 10 seeds, germinated 3 and got 1 female out those. This same female is what I use as my mother. So I've still got 7 seeds left if anything happens to her.

Yea can't wait to get some of that stuff going, waiting in nervous anticipation for them to arrive.
Was also thinking of trying out the Jilly Bean for another easy grow with good flavour, yeild and the same high temp resistance.
Checked out your earlier grows, you seem to have quite the green thumb. :) Noticed improvements with each grow.
Good job, I'm learning something new everyday :D
