250w hps/mh for 2x3 tent

Is a 250w hps/mh enough for 1 plant in a 2x3 by 5 foot tall grow tent ventilited. Growing in soil. I bought a marshydro 300w led but i fear that wont be enough...

Use both of those lights and it might be ok. 250W is rather weak, even for one plant directly under it. But it will work, just not optimally.

You have 2’x3’ equals 6square ft of space. Take 250watts divided 6 gives you about 42watts per square foot, Most people shoot for 40-50watt:sw ft.So it’s not to bad.It would be better to run both lights IF you can keep the temps down. Don’t forget to train your plant to keep it low and wide. Good Luck!
