250 true watt 3w diode bridgelux panel + 250w HPS -

I ran a supplemental light and I feel the trade off was worth the extra money spent.

Now I want to upgrade that light a bit, and got a true 250w (450 stated, 250w at the wall) light. It cost an arm and a leg, but I think its worth it.

How could I best arrange these two lights? Would you use led for the under canopy growth or HPS due to penetration? What do you think would give best results?

try to look up A-51 new LED light

http://area51lighting.com

and IMO its a bad combo to mix, not the light, but 90% of the reason why I use LEDs now is Bc. of heat, don't want a HID in there

also grow method is a bit different IME, now should I do it I would probably hang the LEDs on top of the plants (15-18") and use the 250W HPS as vertical light so I could illuminate the side/under the canopy

Thanks bro - I was thinking the hps would penetrate better underneath - using a supplemental MH this last time really fattened up the undergrowth which I usually cull, so I will definitely be using both.
