240w Nirvana Blue Mystic

Should have given them some veg nutes back when I was originally thinking they needed them. While waiting for the plants to dry out enough to be watered again I've been watching a nitrogen deficiency showing itself more and more. In the past 7 days the plants have gained maybe an inch (this during the first week since they showed pistils) so they're not going to get as big as I would have liked. Fed them yesterday (finally) and they've put on an inch in the last 24 hours. Hopefully got a couple more weeks left until they stop getting any taller.

Do you have pics???............did you start with fresh soil???...................N def is an easy fix though.

good luck and be safe grower

Yes and yes. It was an easy fix - the damage was caused more by my being far too conservative with my nutes when I watered them last week, that was a mistake I won't be making again. Here is a pic of one of them, she has put on maybe 4 sets of nodes in the last 10 days, and gone from about 4 inches tall to 8 - though 1 of those has been in the last 24 hours. The lower leaves are looking a lot less yellow than they were at this time yesterday.

Gaargh, on closer inspection it looks like on of the ladies might just be a ladyboy. These look male to me. What should I do? Pull off all the male preflowers or just cut the whole plant?

Shit brother^^ those fucking Nirvana auto's genetics!!! why are they still on the market???...............kill the herm plants immediately. Can't use hermed auto seeds anyways and you will pollinate the rest if not removed.

Edit........Next time go 12/12 from seed with fem photo strain for more stability and better yields IMO.

Well, at least the hermi coming down leaves me with space in my tent for some other plants. Going to plant some fem photo seeds at the start of December so they can veg for a bit before going 12/12 when I harvest the surviving Blue Mystics.

Day 34, plant on the left is looking good, has put on loads of height in the last week. The plant on the right I think may be hermi, it has what looks like a ball growing out of one of its lower nodes. I'll leave it a few days and if it defo looks male I'll pull it off and keep an eye for anymore forming on that plant.

Yo mang; I've been growing Nirvana's BM for 6 months now - they all seem to take 8 weeks and they all herm at 9 weeks. Some of them are absolutely delicious; my current BM bud smells like blueberries and/or toasted blueberry muffins - the first wasn't remarkable. They can get really big! But the stems are pretty weak and snap easily so get some supports/stakes. GL man, enjoy!

Awesome, what sort of weight per plant do you normally get? I've got some twine at the ready for if the stems start to droop a little from the weight of the buds. God, that'd be so sweet.

Hahaha; it's sorta sweet; I just find the plant snaps super easy so be careful moving her and set up your LST at week 2-3 of flower before the stems get too rigid. They're a lot like celery; strong externally but fibrous and easy to snap. I don't weigh my bud anymore. It looked like BM#1 was an ounce, #2 was 2+ ounces, and this last one should be 3+ ounces; but again, I may lose some to "the snapping..." I decided to cross female pollen from BM#2 with a bagseed strain "organic chocolate"; I've got one visible seed growing right now; so the cross is looking good! It'll be called "James Brown". Sorry I ranted bro

I see no rant? Thanks for the tips, I'll be careful with them.

Everyday is wonderful, the bigger girl is really exploding in height and starting to smell delicious. For anyone that is somehow interested, here are shots of some buds starting to form...

Day 48, she's starting to fill out now. I also planted a seed in a tiny little soft drink bottle that I'd chopped in half. She's looking a lot closer to being done than the big girl, but still a couple of weeks I think. Don't really smell at all, but if I lightly brush them they release a lovely skunky smell. Can hardly stand the wait.

Hey! I forgot to mention that this plant loves to go herm around week 9. 2/3 of mine developed male flowers. I let one of them go and it self pollinated; but it was such a delicious plant (my BM #2) that I figured it was worth the risk. The new seeds are called "BluesBerry King" aka B.B. King and I'm super excited have them in my grow cycle - could have a smoke report within 7 weeks.

Thanks crc, I'll keep my eyes peeled for any more herms, I'll be pissed if it happens to the other two. As things are, it looks like the little plant is getting really close, the bigger one still has 2/3 weeks left I say, the little one maybe a week. What do you all think?

Looking good! They both look like the first Phenotype I grew - one main stalk, insane hairs, didn't taste/smell like blueberry but would knock me out! I think the one on the left needs another 2-3 weeks, and the one on the right needs another 3-4 weeks - Or just let them go until they grow male flowers. Also, I love switching to MH for the last 2 weeks to increase resin production due to more UVB light; worth doing imo.

85 days and finally starting to look like she's nearly done. Has about 3/4% amber trichs with maybe 20% clear. Should I harvest at the weekend even though I still have some white pistils, or leave her to go for a bit longer?
