I just viewed this video for the 1st time in my life ( I have a BA, WTF? ) ...this was his last speech, so I give this my undivided attention...and I have have to say, wow, I was a bit moved....thought I'd share... respect.

I don't think you truly know what racism is, or at the least, you have no knowledge of the history of racism in America's history. I'm not stating there is no racism today, far from it. We just consider it not as politically correct as we did in the 50's. I have friends that to this day, use the N word. It makes me cringe each time I hear it.

Pointing out racism that exists today does not defend or explain away the racism of the past.

i completely agree...plus im surrounded by ignorant rednecks who constantly drop the n word and make racist jokes...as they go home to their trailer lol...but anyways i think that it is immaculate how much indifference blacks have faced in america and yet they still found a way to develop such a strong culture...ill be the first to admit their are fucked up blacks who don't take care of their babies and shit but their are just as many white people if not more doing that bullshit....its more of apartheid than a racist issues these days imho


also you cannot be a racist if you are a minority...i believe the correct term is a bigot

sadly blacks are more likely to commit more crime than whites. "just as many white people if not more are doing that bullshit" this is an untrue statement. Look at the pdf an read through it.

The things he was fighting against were indefensible whether you agree with MLK and everything he stood for or not. He may or may not have been a good man(I don't have the facts to argue that one), but he and a lot of other black leaders put themselves in real danger to fight for some basic rights.

There are just as many white people smoking crack, but the majority of the crack heads in prison are black.... What wouold you call that?

As for your PDF, it is put out by a group that wishes to return America to a white European type society. The leader has stated humans are tribal, and want to be with their own kind. How can you offer us such statistics and fail to mention the bigoted background of the group that published "it's own findings"?
