Tea time! Thought id snap some pics of todays batch of active aerobic compost tea.
Here are the ingredients with amounts per gallon:
1/3 cup assorted compost (equal part forest humus ,homemade compost and vermicompost)
1/2 tsp water soluble kelp meal
1/2 tsp alfalfa meal
2 tsp blackstrap molasses
1/4tsp azomite
last hour of brewing add biozome @ 2 cups (trichoderma) edit: for 50 gallon batch
This is true aact no fertilizer here as i treat that seperate from upping biology. No room for anything in this tea but beneficial's. You can use this to innoculate subs super soil and use it to water plants in s.s. as it has no e.c. Can also be applied via foliar to up the biology on the plant surface and resist diesease like pm Dilute 3:1 for watering and apply straight up for foliar. To make this large of a batch i am using two large air pumps totalling 180 litres per minute. this is a lot more than necessary but it never hurts to have more o2. The compost is free floating instead of using a bag so its up to the air to keep it suspended.

i have grown tired of my r.o, the amount of water, the time it takes to filter the finished product. the energy and time it takes to move all the waste water around the yard. not to mention buying cal/mag products and having to mix and apply them. so here is my new toy for the garden a hydrologic big boy! with upgraded kdf filter with 50,00 gallon capacity! will bubble with lots of air for 24 hours before use.

Love the Big Boy, keeps my indoor and outdoor gardens nice and lush. You won't regret picking that up especially with the KDF filter. Disables the chloramines real nice.
