Hey hows your Cali o doing? I doing. That one as well. Just planted the open bean yesterday. Was a large seed! My other beans tiny![/QUOTE]

The Cali O is great. one of my favs in the garden, while its growing it has the smell of straight orange peel, and once dried cured, the taste of orange candy. The seeds were huge, I got two phenos, the other was more of a skunky afghani type, with a little orange on the exhale. This one is my keeper. How is yours going?? @alaskachic

[QUCI I just planted Cali o yesterday. Seed was huge compared to my other indica beans. So do small beans mean small or weak plants? Cali o popped in 12 hrs! This is my personal as on Feb 24, retail bud stores get there license. Wonder how that will effect us as far as prices, availability etc. Any thoughts?

Hi how cool your in tune with earth like that! Will you share why you waitin for new moon?
it appears farmer/ esoteric tradition would dictate that the best time to sow seeds that bear above ground "fruit" is during the new moon. ( the time varies according to crop from what i gather) . i strongly believe in cosmic forces and the intrinsic relationship between the micro & the macro of our universe. apparently seeds will germ faster; and it comes with a few other benefits as well. if possible; i will always try to go with the flow ;) . by the same thinking; i believe the time to harvest is the full moon period. " sow on the new; reap on the full" . i actually cut down my lemon crippler last season during the full moon period; UNDER the full moon. it was pretty cool; and honestly my favorite plant haha. who knows.

Hey tface I no put ANY nutes yet, & my ladies are @ 4 ' in 2wks. After I transplanted from there seedling pots. Using good ole glacier water too. Honestly, haven't checked pH either! You think more potent when using nutes or no?! So torn! Thanks!

I am just harvesting Mandala Chill-OM, WOS Strawberry Blue, Peak Seeds Northern Lights. Up next, hmmmm maybe Jarilla Mexican from Cannabiogen, Mangobiche Colombian from Cannabiogen, some interesting freebies with Chocolope and Oregon Hucklberry in the mix of genetics. After that maybe some Jalisco Mexican from Eskobar, Frankies from Chimera, Northern Berry from Peak. Quite a few other freebies and single fems to choose from too. Never enough time to do all I want to.

Omg hey tface I just checked my calendar & I cannot believe this I planted my blueberry2&3 on the 8th. This month! That day was new moon! How cool! I didn't even know!
subconscious synchronicity ;)

as far as nutes go at an early point in *life cycle; check this thread out . i learned ALOT; and will most certainly be feeding my seedlings from a much younger age. if your water is RO or neutral you shouldn't need to PH yet; but you are also not getting any natural minerals so you will need to feed sooner. what are you going to feed with?
