Those little 30 gals are determined huh? The plants I put I N the gr ro und seem to be loving the root space. Hopefully I will have some chunky 3-4 footers come harvest.

I am so amazed by you year after year hun...they look so wonderful.

Loving the shades of green out there man. Nice veggies as well!

The cravens are all between 3-4' currently I'm hoping for 5-6 footers. We've been having nice humid weather here and that's been pushing some real nice growth.

I had a gopher destroying my green bean wall and that's been a bitch but I finally got some traps in its Warren hopefully I got him last night.

All in all I can't help but feel like I'm behind though I'm hopeful lol.

Your plants look amazing, this morning I was out checking my 6 plants, something I do every other day so if there are any insects or other issues I can catch them early enough!! I was thinking how the heck do you keep tabs on all those plants? how often do you check em? do you look each plant over or is it just too much for so many plants??

Looking them over is the first thing I do in the morning. I haven't really had any insect issues this year. I spray weekly with azamax and soapy water weekly and Neem once in a while for good measure. I have wevilside to kill gophers though my problem was getting into this ones warren. I collapsed all the tunnels last time I had a gopher and this one here decided on different pathing. I got the little fucker this morning so it's okay now

I grow things that the insects prefer to my herb.. for example green beans seem to draw in whiteflys and aphids, marigolds seem to repel alot of insects and I've those growing everywhere. I also grow lemon basil and garlic in the planters with the herb.

I made this nifty little screen today lol. This is my spider mite detection plant lol. The green beans always attract the mites.

Yea every year I end up scrambling to grid the plants out and it's never as nice or as easy as I'd like... so I figured why not put the screen on the top as well. I then don't have to worry about it later as long as I'm willing to train them as they go.
