Someone's catching on :)

Aye where do you get your flowers tested?
I'm getting the Cannatonic tested tmrw through SC. I'm reallyyy hoping I got a couple of the super high CBD pheno's ::crosses fingers:: It's got a nice few week cure on it and smells heavenly. I'll be sharing the results on this thread when I get em.

Looking forward to seeing your results! Have you smoked it yet, if you have the super high CBD pheno its pretty obvious when you smoke it.

Thanks Huel.

Yeah it was definitely a let down at first when there wasn't that forehead slam medicated feeling like I would normally feel off of a regular flower. Then I wised up and realized that this was a Good thing. For this last grow, I wanted to go out swinging in winter before I started getting ready for Spring(outdoor). So I searched around for my high CBD strain that wasn't going to be Harlequin. Obtained some Cannatonic and it was a wrap. I fell in love with trying something different. In my growing techniques, I try to take average knowledge and recreate my own common-sense based engineering logic. Guess what I'm trying to get at, is that we all strive to create something from nothing. To me, it's an art form with a dash of magic(photosynthesis).

My most recent Cannatonic grow was tested today.

They are as follows..

THC - 21.19%(211.90 mg/g)

Delta 9 THC - 1.00%(9.97 mg/g)

CBD - 8.86%(88.62 mg/g)

Moisture - 9.78%

The ground up flower that was tested:

Pretty happy with the total THC at 22.19% :leaf:

Someone from my grow class brought in a few PK x NYCD(Purp Kush x New York City Diesel) seedlings. I was very fortunate enough to be gifted one. This person will be one to watch out for in the edible caps category providing patients with the purest most organic caps above 60mg/cap. They'll be oil instead of flower or trim based extracts. Anyways... His seedling is in a 1gal coco pot and got a little beat up on the journey to the class but I was able to get it back here still alive.
A little stretched but I'll keep the light close to minimize lanky ness.

Top Shot of the PK x NYCD:

Purple Cadillac:

Picked up a 100ft garden hose and multi-spray function nozzle at HD. The 100ft. size was perfect for me to be able to get everywhere I need it outside this year.

Those results don't make any sense. Delta 9 THC is what what people refer to as THC, and which is what gets you high. How can you have one line saying it has 1% THC and another line saying it has 21% THC. You should ask for some clarification on that. If it really did have 22.19% THC and 8.86% CBD that would mean it has over 31% total cannabinoids which would be world record levels....

I've seen hundreds of Cannatonic test results and the 1% THC and 8.86% CBD is what makes sense.

Im not saying you're wrong or that it's bullshit by any means.. But the owner of this QC machine that tested my flower runs the grow class, and is also a very close friend of mine. He wouldnt bs me. It was free, so I wasn't complaining. He was telling me that the Delta 9 is the narcotic feeling that comes from the actual flower itself, you're right about that. We were in sort of a hurry and this was my first time ever trying to get something tested so i was unsure of the gas or liquid chromography testimg differences and such. That is his writing on the back of the test bag. I'm not questioning the results. What are you saying are most likely the results... THC 1%, and CBD 8%??

Seeing that you're from Cali, you can grow outside at anytime of the year with the proper gear. Greenhouses are a must during winter and if you're still using it during summer, you better have some good ventilation going through there. People gripe about Nor Cal VS. SoCal... but it honestly doesn't matter. A buddy of mine has a beach house next to the water in Pacifica and he grows his regular strains during summer, and auto's during winter without any problem whatsoever inside or outside of the greenhouse.

Wasn't out to call bullshit, i just knew something didn't add up...

Now things are starting to makes sense lol! For some reason your test result pics were not showing up on my phone but now that i'm home on my pc i can see the. The 21.19% number is THCA, not THC. THCA is the non-psychoactive form of THC, this is what the plant actually produces. THCA is converted to THC through decarboxylation, this removes the acid molecule leaving just THC which is psychoactive. Decarboxylation can occur from a very long cure or when the plant material is heated like when it is cooked into medibles, vaped or smoked. The lab will either heat the sample to decarb it or use a formula to calculate it based on the amount of THCA present in your sample.

Your actual results are on the sheet showing the pie chart, 7.65% THC and 8.86% CBD. You have the most common pheno of Cannatonic with the roughly 1:1 ratio. Still very rich in CBD compared to 95% of the meds out there and very desirable stuff for legit patients! Good job!

I've been around a lab or two, feel free to confirm everything i've said here with your friend.

Yeah try it out.
Just know that whatever size you put them outside at, that's they size that they're gonna start flowering at. Lookup your city and it'll show you how many hours of daylight you're receiving each day for the whole year. http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/RS_OneYear.php Since we're having short days(under 12hrs daylight) right now, they're gonna start flowering immediately no matter what size they are. You can throw up a light put there to extend the daylight time and thus creating an artificial vegetative scenario. Post results.

Yesterday they were fed:

- RO water PH'd to 5.9
- 5ml/gal H&G Soil A & B
- 1 tsp/5gal GH Rapid Start Rooting Enhancer

I was trying to correct a small N defiency, and after giving them the H&G, they've cheered up and are much happier now.

3wks from germination:
