Thanks GG. Yeah they are finally taking off a bit. Started LST on largest cheese I've topped twice. Just tucked the growing terminals under the fan leaf, works great. Will need to go to final pot with this one in about a week. Pics of her with new haircuts and a tuck styling:

What's up Aim, nice looking ladies! I was just curious why you chose to top the ladies instead of supercrop? Are setups are pretty much the same, and my ladies are about the same age as yours, so ill be following. I've supercropped my girls twice so far and now there branching out of control, with less shock time to recover from, as opposed to topping. Anyways, good luck man!

I will supercrop later to keep the canopy even, right now I topped to make them bush out and develop more colas. You can look at my grow from this spring and post #101 is how they turned out with topping, LST and supercropping. I'm shooting for the same thing with maybe a little larger plants in the end.

Ok, here we are at about day 41 from sprout, or six weeks in veg.

Repotted 2 days ago into 5 gal pots, they never missed a beat. Roots had encircled 3 qt pots so it was time.

They all have been topped at least once, some twice, and LST begun on the largest cheese. I imagine in a week tie down will have started on all of them. Thinking of going to 12/12 in a couple weeks. Watered twice during the week once with full strength nutes, once with half.

Running the 600W about 15 hrs/day with the CFLs staying on all the time.

Comments/questions welcome.

Looks good. Keepin em short and bushy.

I love tyin down directly to the pot. Except when branches get too long haha.

Ive been usin dyna gro and just a little bit in every other watering and my shits lookin beautiful.

Finally hung up the 3 parts and additives and went with dynas grow and bloom and snow storm ultra by humboldt countys own.

Yeah I drill a bunch of holes around the lip of the pot and use bulk spool of florist ties to tie over with

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004R9XD/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's easy to move around the lip of the pot as branch directions need to be tweaked.

Once they get past the pot they ARE to long, but once they get past the edge of the pot these 6 are going to be JAMMED into my 5' wide space. 4 almost filled me up last time, hope 6 wasn't too ambitious. Actually I thought I might end up with 4 after germinating but all took off well so I'm gonna go with 6.

As far as nutes I am using 1/2 tsp of Jacks citrus (20-10-20), and 1/2 tsp of DynaGrow Foliage Pro (9-3-6) per gallon for what I am considering a "full feeding". They have different micros, but I will admit I could get by with one or the other. Both nutes say 1 tsp/gal so I cut it in half and using 1/2 tsp of both. Every watering always gets one tsp of silica and one tsp of cal mag.

Thats about as simple and low $ as it gets but i'm confident these basics will get me through the grow in great shape. Did some quick math on the ingredients and it's gonna run me about $8-$9 for nutes for the grow including J's Citrus, DynaGro, Cal-Mag and Silica.

Sorry, but this is a shameless self bump.

But Bernice is my girl, and if she can't be on my lap, or by my side, she'll take a position between my smelly shoes. Isn't she just...... whatever.

Anyway we're gonna do a full photo shoot tomorrow and get up the weekly pics. Plants are crankin' and I'll get up some pics by this time tomorrow.

Peace - AIM

(Isn't she cute as hell?)

OK here's where we're at. Everything still looking fine. After repotting on 11-8 I could see roots at the bottom of the pots on the 13, so 5 days to get 4" to the bottom, seems like good root growth.

Did a lot of topping, all plants will probably be left alone now. LST started on all of them now, that will continue well into flower.

If they were all the size of Cheese 1 I'd go 12/12 now, but going to wait a few days, probably will do it by next weekly update.

All for now, questions comments always welcomed - AIM

Here's a series of 5 overhead shots that show what their development has been the last 4 weeks, hopefully they will post up in the right order chronologically, otherwise the date should be on the pic itself.

Hey AimAim, I'll come along for the journey :) Do you find it makes a noticeable difference to have the CFL's in addition to the 600w? I was thinking of buying a couple T5 fixtures to hang vertically to compensate for the areas my 600w won't reach.

Good luck friend!

I can't say for sure because this is only my 2nd indoor grow and I used some the first grow as well, but not this many. If all 10 bulbs are lit its adding like 320 watts. Right now with the MH on I have 8 24W / 2700K CFLs and 2 60W / 6500K. When I switch to my HPS bulb I'll take most of the 2700s out and replace them with more 5000 & 6500K bulbs and I've got a couple UVBs.

So in addition to more light, I'm able to add a more diverse spectrum of light with the CFLs, which I think is good. I think is HAS to help somewhat, maybe quite a bit, just can't quantify it.

Thanks for joining in! Fresh pics up in a few days. I put the Big Cheese on 12/12 a couple days ago as she was getting too big, gonna give the remaining 5 a couple more days to try to get some more height. I just moved her from my dark isolation area, a shower in an unused bathroom, back under the lights.

So this is what I got going on today. This picture is MINUS the Big Cheese plant I had already hauled off to the dark room for the night. (upstairs in shower stall).

Basically I got all plants tied down about 12"-14" tall and filling a 5X5ft space.

I'll put up a full photoshoot Sun or thereabouts as usual.

I'm having a hard time determining when to pull the 12 hr trigger on the remaining 5 plants. Don't wanna overwhelm myself but but want to get the 5X5' fully staffed and occupied. I think maybe 3 more days of veg and we will be going for the gusto.

Plants and their color is perfect for me at this point.
