2012 Bubba Kush Harvest 1 plant

So this was cut on 10-6-12


which gave me this much...



very impressed with the results from this years grow so far.

any guesses as to how many jars this will need?


I will update with trimmed bud pics once I work up the energy to start trimming them...

I dont ever weigh it.. I just end up guessing based off mason jars being filled...

at this point I gave up for the day... have to air out the house before wifey gets home and smells it.. she hates the smell and I generally trim when she is not gonna be home for 5+ hours..... even the MMJ wont ease her yelling so.. I like to avoid that..

have so far about 2 jars filled.. I have some huge 5 inch + sized collas and I am contemplating cutting them into smaller jar sized bits or just getting a bigger jar.

I have smoked some today + some finger / scissor hash and then it was pretty much stare at tv and relax...

Here was my plan... as ambitious a it was... was to trim all of this in one sitting.. as you can see I did not get far.. not too mention she still needs a day or so to dry.. been over 10 days now and weather is not helping it much.

basic tools.. + tv remotes to watch something mindless (watched stev-0 and cky 3)

nice i just cropped 40 bubbas for a total of 25 pounds... i had a few plants that were well overa pound one was 2pounds dry

I would love to but then I'd complain about having to use that too...

this is my 3rd one this season... planted on 2-18-12 really early harvest.. Last year planted about the same time canned them on 11-1-11 and 11-11-11

I have a chem jack getting cut in about 2 hours I like to wait till the am sun gets them all shiny and oily looking then CHOP!

This Chem Jack is by far the most unusual smell.. very piney and well.. like pinesol almost.. (not one I will be using in edibles )

OK here is day 2 trim session... I decided to keep the larger buds in zips till I get some larger jars..
used a 16.9 oz water bottle for scale..




this will be day 3 (remains of the bubba kush)





and what is drying currently

Great job! I gave up on 1/2 gal mason jars and started on some food grade 5 gal buckets with gamma lids

Nice job. too bad i haven't herd if there was gonna b e a cypress hill smoke out. you could be the supplier and i sneak the long and pipes

no doubt.. how long is yours taking to dry these days? over 10 on this bubba... last year was max 7-8 tops

well this was the original harvest (shown with a 32 oz mason jar for scale) and from what I have seen in the 2 grows is they shrink over the drying time..

there are a bunch of stems in that 5 gal tub.

were you referring to a dif photo? perhaps the one that shows them drying in the 3rd set of pics? these are whats left after the trim that is not Bubba

Bit old, what breeder did you get the bubba kush from or can anybody reccomend me one for the bubba kush as im force flowering this year and she looks strong and early !
