If your going for stealth, i would worry more about the smell when your flowering. Also, you need lots of moving air and venting for healthy plants. I personally devoted a 2x4 closet in my old place where i hung 4 - 4foot various fluorescent lights(8 bulbs) which i could raise up and down. At the bottom sat a 175 L tote(on styrofoam as the floor was cold) with my nutrient solution( with fish tank heater and circ. pump) I used the flood and drain hydro method which is so easy u cant f**k it up! (3 times daily on timer) This setup worked flawlessly, although i didnt see great results untill i gave up screwing around with cheap lights and got me a 400w hps! It was plenty for the space and i was very pleased with the results. As for venting, I needed to keep it stealth. my only choices were to get cutting or use the window(which is 1 foot deep) I left it open a crack and the blinds were closed and next to the glass. with a flat-black painted piece of plywood, I covered the window, leaving a gap at the end that was closed, the plywood was a few inches out from the blinds. Then i covered the entire window with another piece of plywood onto the wall (flat black and a hole cut for the outlet air) placing the hole at the opposite side of the gap, i attched and sealed it all with clear silicone. Then i ran my outlet air hose from the fan in the closet, above the light, to the outlet hole in the plywood and BOOM!

From the outside it looked like a dark room with the blinds closed.

Just some ideas! good luck fello 420er:weed:
