:arrow:I've managed large scale op's before, this is my first personal grow though. Everything is done CHEAP with quality genetics.:-P I have a garbage can walled with reflective tape used for air ducts (understood the possible hotspots...), 3 regular reptile lamps, 3 N:Vision 100-watt equivalent bright white CFL's (they were on sale, 4 for a little over $4, understood 3000k and lower for flowering, and 5000k and over for vegging, these are 3500k), an unknown galloned ceramic pot (guessing 2 1/2 gallon), and Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix (understood it's time release fertilizer that may burn the plants...). I've got 5 Afghani Bomb seeds in germination, it's an heirloom strain I aqcuired through a friend, :sad:it was his father's own before his passing. I hope you all enjoy my simple grow as it comes! :leaf:HAPPY NEW YEARS!:leaf:

AFGHANI BOMB:weed:

Lineage: Himalayan Sativa/Siberian Ruderalis X Afghani

Family: 70's era landrace strains

Region: North America

Genotype: Mixed, mainly Indica (75/25)

Indoor Maturation: 50-60 days

Outdoor Maturation: Ready between mid to end of October.

Sex Possibilities: Female

Stature: Is bushy, thick, stocky, with crazy tight internodes, very stiff branches, and huge obscenely wide-bladed leafs Sativa like in size, Indica like in
width.

Yield: 8/10

Hardiness: 10/10

Hardiness Description: Incredible. Would be the last plant standing in a disaster. It's such a hardy Indica it can withstand frosts outdoors.

Odor Level: 7/10

Odor Description: Musky skunk red grape smell. Not a ton of smell in flower unless you shake the plant.

Taste Level: 9/10

Taste Description: Earthy chocolately/grape taste.

Potency: 10/10

Potency Description: Unbelievable THC & CBD levels.

Effect: Is very introspective & euphoric, a creeper that runs into a heavy couchlock. The long-lasting high ranges from 3-4 hours, alleviating headaches and
back pain well.

Plant Appearance: Red petioles, young show some purple hues, short for the amount of mass it puts on in veg, spear-like buds that are surprisingly long and
slender for the bulkiness of the plant.

Bud Appearance: Well cured they're dense, lime green, heavily frosted (especially on leaf bottoms), rusty orange haired headstash buds.

Flowering: The stretch is minimal, stretch that does occur is just colas shooting up, you don't get as many new leaves as a
lot of strains do.

At midnight new years, 3 out of 5 seeds were germinated and ready to plant. They were planted at that time.:bigjoint:
This morning they broke ground and rised above the surface. I have photo's, one's showing some purple hue:-P, but I'm struggling to get them online.
Along with the seedlings this morning, one of the germinating seeds released it's taproot, so either late tonight or tomorrow I'll plant it in the marked fourth spot. If the other one doesn't sprout tomorrow, I'm scuffing the outside of it and will continue to try and germinate. :wall:
I made an equal square with the planted seeds (included the marked spot for the soon to be planted) in the pot leaving some room on the outer edge for roots to grow outwards. The center is left clear for the 5th seed if it does germinate.
I originally had them on a Corona box to bring them towards the light, but the heavy ceramic pot was starting to take it's tole... I ended up putting it on-top of one of my pound curing jars lol.
The initial watering is good for now. I'm using reverse osmosised water, I don't have my PH meter anymore. Will keep you all updated with whatever I can.:leaf:

So I've taken another look at the 2 seeds in germination. They've both germinated now! Tomorrow night (or tonight now) I'll plant them both, the taproot is about the same on both, I want them about an 1/8" before planting.

Seedling's are looking good. The purple hued one seems to be ahead of the others and still has the same hue, it looks good, I'll probably clone that one if I clone at all (I still have to come up with a cloning area and the method I'll choose to do, used to get 99% successful cloning, accept when I got sloppy over-baked, but I don't have the room or money for the same method). The two other seeds were planted today at 6:30 this afternoon. Everything is on a 18/6 cycle right now, would of done 22/2 if it wasn't for the extra electricity (I know not much but heck). The light's are 6" away from the plants. So in a few days I'll repost with a update and with pics when they arise.

Seedling's are growing good, they've almost doubled in size and leave's are getting bigger. No sprouted seedling's above ground yet. Now I wasn't going to post an update yet, but on day 4, the purple hue disappeared on the seedling located at the 9 o'clock location.:cuss: I was hoping it would last a little longer but then whatever, I will enjoy myself just as much in the end!:eyesmoke: Smoked the bowl I got of this stuff last night, it was a 4-5 hour high, I timed it. Unbelievable!:-P

Thank you, I think it will go along good for the amount of money I spent!:) I used to be all about high-end growing, but I'm learning the love of doing it cheap.:bigjoint: So in that case for sure I'll have to check it out.:-o So as promised, though a little late, here's my day 6 pictures!:leaf:
