2000w White Russian Coco Grow

Everything in this journal about marijuana or the cultivation here of is for medical use only. I have my physicians statements and recommondation, medical review, and my state medical marijuana id card posted in my garden.


The setup:


- 1 room that is 10ft x 9ft 10in. x 9ft ceilings

- 600 watts for veg, 2000 watts for flowering

- Air cooled hoods with 410cfm fan

- Sentinel atmosphere controller

- Intake fan of 440cfm with 8ft biological filter (Air sock)

- Exhaust fan of 900cfm connected to a 110 lb carbon filter (80 pounds of carbon)

- Fantech inline muffler for exhaust (works great)

-Co2 System with a 20 lb tank

-OZN 1 inline ozone lamp (for smell), good for 5500 cu. ft. space

- 44 gallon rez....lol trashcan works great

- House and Garden Nutrients

- 4 gallon pots with 80% Coco and 20% perlite, then a thin layer of Diatomaceous Earth on top of the Coco

-The room is setup up to where I am pulling in cool air from outside the room through holes I put in my door and then I vent the hot air from the lights and exhaust out of the window through a window box I built.


I am going to be growing 23 plants of White Russian grown from clones that I will be taking from the mothers I am currently growing.
I am using Serious Seeds genetics because I have yet to find a more stable company. I germinated the seeds for my mother plants last monday by putting them face down into rockwool cubes that had been soaked in 5.6ph water. I then put them in a humidity dome on top of a seedling mat under 150 watts of flourescent light.

Out of 11 seeds, all 11 germinated and were sticking above the surface of the cubes within 4 days.

They are now all exactly 1 week old (including germination).


Week 1:

Temperature (75-84F) Humidity (50-72%)

Monday, May 11: Started germination of seeds
- Using rockwool cubes
- Set on heat mat in humidity dome set to 80-90 degrees on a hydro-farm seedling mat temperature meter, the thermometer doesn't work that well though.

Friday, May 15: Planted first 5 mother plants in 2 gallon pots
- Coco coir, flushed with hot water, then flushed with 3x pot size of 5.6 PH water
- All seeds have germinated and are a half inch tall on average
- Given plain water at 5.6 PH

Saturday, May 16: Planted other 6 mother plants in 2 gallon pots
-Coco coir, flushed with hot water then flushed with 3x pot size of 5.6 PH water
- Given 240ml of water with 1ml per gal of Roots Excelurator, 5.6 PH (240ppm)



These pictures I attatched of the room and of the babies were taken yesterday.

I will post a little later an update of what I did today.

very ns reflective room. should do well.the yields and the thc cake up onit is impressive,, odor control def.i'm subscribed.

Awesome, glad to see you here.

Here from the other thread, looks like a nice setup, the results should be impressive with your setup. White Russian is a very nice plant, my favorite so far.

Thanks, One of my fav's too except I havn't had a chance to have any in a long time, so this should be fun.

Ok so today I water them with their first batch of real nutrients and they seemed to take to it fine.

Mixed 5 gallons of water with:
-2.5ml per gal of H&G's CoCo A/B nutrient
-1ml per gal of H&G's Roots Excelurator
-dropped it to 5.6PH
-210 base ppm of the water + 360 ppm of nutrients = 570 ppm after its all mixed up

I gave them about 240ml of water each. Suprisingly, even with that small of an amount of water there is still runoff.

Also I moved them all under the 600 watt and turned on the fan. The ventilation works so well the room is actually colder now than it was with the 4 flourescent bulbs out in the open...that really suprised me. I mean the light is being air cooled but it is way hotter than the flourescents, hopefully it will work just as well with the full 2000 watts in there.

The temperature is staying around 75 degrees with humidity around 68%.

Also, the ozone generator is on a cycle timer for 1 minute every 2 hours. This thing is so fucking strong if it is on for 10 minutes and you are in the room you might pass out. I mean its for a 5500 cu ft area and I'm using it for an 810 cu ft area lol.

I'm going to veg the mothers for about 6 to 7 weeks, then take clones, have them root for a week or so, then put them in coco for a 10 day veg or so then on to flowering.

I think I gave them that first batch of nute water a bit too soon.

Two of the seedlings have a milimeter or so of tip burn. The others seem to be fine.

So just to be safe I watered them with plain water with Roots Excelurator again instead of the nute water.

I started with the recommended doasge for seedlings for the nutrients, which is 2.5ml per gal, but I guess that was still too much...or I gave it to them a little too soon, either way.

Be back later with an update.

K well even tho the nutrient water was a bit much the plants all look fine.

I think the plain water today helped if anything.

They are growing pretty steadily now and I plan on giving them some nutrient water tomorrow or maybe the next day, except this time I'm going to start at 1ml per gal instead of 2.5

I have been giving them 240ml of water each time I water (once a day).

They look to small too me to be adding nutes already, I'd hold off awhile longer. They can get what they need from the soil, as long as it hasn't been used already. Since you've already added nutes they will be fine. Not trying to interfere with your grow, just letting you know my opinion, that's all.

I would definitely agree, but this isn't soil its Coco and is inert heh. I have to give them somethin to start with, and the recommended doasge for seedlings from house and garden is 2.5ml per gal but I think that is too high so I'm going to start with 1ml per gal in a few days.

Ok, I have no idea on Coco growing, I plan on reading up since it keeps getting mentioned more and more. I learned something already so it's all good.

I did'nt read the post,but heres my 2 cents.You could use fluorescent for veg. or atleast 1 month old.You should add some garden lime to the mix:http://www.amazon.com/Espoma-Organic-Traditions-Garden-Lime/dp/B000BWZAQQ .It works fast A+ product.

i use a seedling nute mysef for the small seedling and seedling plants..i would not use a high nitrogen drink of any sort not till the third set of leaves.....looks good your off to a good start.

Im gonna be watching this grow Damios, did u fall in love with coco once you got the hang of it? It took me a while to figure out but i love this stuff..plants grow like crazy in em

I like it mainly because of the fact it is inert, that way I can control every bit of nutrients the plants get.

Also I like it because it is extremely hard to overwater your plants.

So far I have enjoyed working with it a lot.

Hmm I don't think I would have to do that just cause coco changes PH rather quickly to wtvr the ph is of the water you are pouring through it.

Unlike soil where there is nutrients in the medium, which will affect the PH, coco is inert and will stay relatively close to the PH you set your water at.

I am new to coco for the most part but this is what I have heard.
