oh and don't let ur plants go that yellow as nugb s did that early, keep em green they will fade naturally as they age not a 6 weeks lol, hes in organics so needs to feed with aact to improve the nutrition imo

Hey zeddd thanks for that guide, i think my second largest plant (now my largest lol) is about ready to top now. What do you think?

(must be an indica dominant strain as the leaves are very short and fat compared to the one i attempted mainline on).

Getting red stems? I should give more nitrogen?

im getting some lime and perlite to mix through my soil, lax said 25 percent perlite i think, im not sure on how much lime i should add?

What is your preferred method for growing?( Highest yield with least delays.)

Gorgeous as always. Thanks for sharing. I think this is an excellent way to fill a canopy with one plant.

What yield did you get?
What size pot?
Wasn't a stupid little 7 litre pot to fill a whole canopy, that's for sure.

Also, how many weeks veg ?

Brilliant as always bro! :)
I ended up with 450 grams from that last pic.
I start with solo cups and move to 2 gal plastic pot( I hate transplanting out of a fabric pot) for about 4 weeks. This is when I start toping and training. Then I move to their final 20 gallon fabric pot for another 4 weeks. So about 8 weeks veg total.

Love it! 20 gallons is huge, no wonder they grow to their full potential.

If 4 plants were used instead, that would obviously reduce the veg time a bit wouldn't it?

In the UK they can have 8 plants without too much repercussion. So this method for either 1 or 4 plants per light would be fine, just depends how much veg time they want to do. :)

Yup, smaller pots wouldn't need as much veg time.

OK I know its been a while but I have my exhaust fan now, not sure if I'm gonna leave it where it is as it causes vibrations which makes my door "hum".

Thanks to Gary's pics I've decided to sway from the mainlining idea (although all his growth is coming from one connection it kinda is mainlining as far as I'm concerned lol)

I'm now just aiming for an even flat canopy. But I'm mega/super cropping for my shape rather than tying, although I need to get better at it as I've nearly popped my branches off on more then one occasion, thank God for tape and splints lol.

I'll update with growth or additions lol

Take care and happy growing.

I topped her again and took a few cuttings. She grew back.

This was the other plant around the same time.

Super cropped the pair of them.

Then they had a tree look to them.

Im a little to heavy handed, I'll learn to be more gentle next time.

They were getting very bushy so I tried some defoliation. I went a little ott.

a shower to grow; good idea - ever consider trying the water on and spraying using the shower head? great job on your growing method - when it comes to defoliation; remove leavs that block the light to bids - if using mainline method some defoliation will be needed - keep us posted !

And here we are up to date. Today I tried two methods for tying the plants down, I switched to 12/12 on the 1st of Feb so they have been in flower 11 days? Do I count from light switch or first sign of flowers? I see none yet.

Largest I've tied down with wool to the side of the container and the smallest I've taped the large fan leaves to the side of container.

I'll try get updates out sooner in future. Peace.

Your flower times go like this:
Pre-flower stage 1-2 weeks
Flower stage 1-4 month's - with 2 being the norm (depends on strain

YOUR FLOWER TIME START'S WHEN YOU START TO SEE BUD DEVELOPMENT AFTER SWITCHING TO 12/12/ - this takes about 7-10 days after you switch - So that 7-10 days DOES NOT count as flower time - flower time starts when you see bud development then do your "flower" count-down time Hope This helps !!

I added Canna PK 24 days after 12:12. It's a 42-45 day plant. So 3 weeks before is when I added. I had to wire them up the next day.

We count from 12:12. That's our day 1. Especially when growing fast sativas.
