I ran some Live Rosin yesterday from fresh frozen flowers. I put about 3-4oz of fresh frozen buds into my 160mic bubble bag with 2lbs of dry ice & shook for 5min. Live frozen kief...
so sticky icky we had to use razor blades to collect from the mirror(:

I did a run after making bubble hash & squished out each bag separately for a friend & also as an experiment. I saved him 1/2 the bubble hash from each micron bag & squished the other 1/2, so he has bubble & rosin from his stuff in different grades...8)

P.S. I got way more return with dry ice kief & I didn't see much difference in the rosin..

Going to try a fresh frozen dry ice extract this time, vs my last dried trim run. 3x 1 gallon zip locks stuffed to the max in the freezer. Hopefully next weekend I can press more. Also testing out my new 5x7 plates.

I tried the straightener and got nothing but toasted flat bud. Used Gfs ghds. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

How old/fresh was the bud? What temp was the hs set at? How long did you press for and how hard? Any sizzle when pressing?

I was thinking of doing the same exact process.....Extract with dry ice to get the kief....load the kief into mesh bags and then rosin press them....profit.

I want to set up a similar "lab". Very cool stuff! Thanks for sharing!

I just attempted a fresh frozen dry ice extract.

Well it didn't work out so well. The fresh frozen was, we'll frozen in a f n ball of trim. Drying it out now to run dry.
