Gorbzz, Great grow! Came here by reading through Flowamasta's latest grow. Love the growing style both of you are using. Amazing to say the least. Very tempted to try that for my next round. Have done coco last, and was happy with that, but this looks much more automated, more regulated, and just simpler overall once everything is tested and running properly. Never had an automated watering system before, always watered by hand. Will look for more details on the design of the hempy.

Looking forward to see them pack on more weight!!

Thanks mate!

This is by far the easiest way I have grown, once you get past the setup and and the seedling stage its smooth sailing! :D Seriously all I do now is flush and change the res once a week and thats pretty much it! a few tiny things like putting the net in for the scrog but its so easy! Im in so much debt to Flowa haha, He helped guide me through it and im sure he would be proud of how im going :):bigjoint:

Nice work Gorbzzz! maybe time to back off the nutes a little.... and a good flush :) the plants have stored their fair share of food now, so i'm thinking back off 1/3 what you are giving. They are at their peak now :) keep them pretty much like this, back off a little, now you just have to sustain her energy, feed enough to keep her happy ;)

Looking Sexy as Gorbzzz, you're makin this look like an easy dream. It is easy to go too much food towards the end i have learnt in perlite. Watch out for the NPK rates on your bottles, keep additives that are high in 'N' fairly low. It's fattening time, and i'm right here smack on the line :p

EDIT: watch the weight of those pots Gorbzzz, i had a mate recently come home to 1 out of 4 plants tipped over and a 200 litre res that had emptied itself in the growroom. Make sure they are stable, If you have to tie rope from corner to corner to feel safe, do it

Thanks flo :) Yep flush day tomorrow! I will cut back a bit on the nutes then and see how they go, getting pretty anxious now, not a long time to go.. already got 4 rooted clones slowly battling it out to see who can make it to the final 2 for the next round. What do you replace when starting a new grow? I know your a freak when it comes to cleanliness :-P Im thinking different pots (shorter but wider, more like yours) new perlite and new bigger feed lines with new horse shoe feed rings

Good man :) first things first, I too have 4 clones battling away! 2 for me, 2 for my mentor... I replace all feed hoses and connections, airstone, potsock, perlite, (hydroton can be re-washed but i don't Bleeehh $30 a bag use fuk all...) I always start each veg stage with a brand new son-t agro 600 dual spec, and flower using the pro-gro at the moment, then back to dual spec for the last couple of weeks. I believe in productivity! i dont have a light meter yet, and to guarantee maximum growth for electricity used, i like to use a fresh bulb. You can always tell when they are new and seem to drop off slightly after a month or so. I use the same bulb twice for 2 flowerings as it's only on for half the time, plus the swap mid-flower.
Great idea on having lower wider pots. I too still look around for something new. Yes get a bigger feed line, but not to big, you want it to flow upwards to the feed ring. DON'T USE HORSE SHOE FEEDERS. Too small feed holes, they clog up and are extremely uneven and useless for liquid nutrients in my opinion. I have nothing good to say about them! sorry! you want it to flow fast but not so fast it splashes from the force. it should flow up so you can hear the bubbles, and then come out the nipples and shoot out no more than 5 - 10 cm so when they are slightly submerged the spread comes from hitting the perlite and it is much more even. If you can have the nipples on the top side of the feed ring so the ring can fill before coming out out of any nipples, this prevents dry spots in your pot, which can lead to serious mould or root rot. BUT i never have had that issue i try to prevent things like that any way i can.

awesome work Gorbzzz :) hows those horse shoe feeders treating you? ive seen some bad results with them only because of the small hole sizes and salt building up around the holes and blocking flow then ph can go outta whack and you can get burns.... something to watch out dfor, but you may be fine, i just haven't risked it and just went large bore holes to drench completely. Either way Your shit is looking more potent than half the erb i've seen round these parts ;)

Insane. What an awesome grow, and you sure have filled out to the sides!!

Thanks maaaate :) yeah I wanted to see what the horse shoes would be like so i wacked them on the end of this grow. I didnt use pot sox this grow as i rushed into it and i think either the roots or perlite could be clogging the return line. The horse shoes pump out a awesome ammount of water so much that one of the pots fill up quicker than it can drain!

In the new grow ill use pot sox and line the bottom of the pots with clay balls
