2 wk old plants not growing. suggestions?

I have 4 plants. 2 are just under 3 weeks. 2 are just under 2 weeks. each one seems to have a unique difference from the rest. all ww, all same environment...
(2x4 grow tent with a 400 w hps @ 24" from plant tops. the tent is open 98 percent of the time inside a mylar lined closet . temp is 82 hi, 67 low. the humidity is 20% day, 55% night. the closet has an oscillating fan and air purifier running for the 18hr days. homemade co2 generator in tent. All plants in grow medium consisting of 1 pt perlite, 1 pt sphagnum peat moss, 2 part potting soil. plants are watered only when mostly dry 2" into the soil and foliage is misted 2x daily.)
Plant A will be 3 weeks on thurs. The underside leaf tips are curling and yellow at the tips, some yellow spotting on underside leaves. It is stiff and rigid to the touch. overall plant growth has stopped for the past 3-4 days except for the stalk... which is getting noticably thicker and stronger.
Plant B is will also be 3 weeks on thurs and overall growth has also stopped. plant is also not growing symetrically. Stem is much weaker than Plant A.
Plant C has also stopped growing it seems. Also not growing symetrically at ALL.

Was told earlier that it was waterlog so i didnt water. all the pots seemed light tonight and the girls were really droopy so i gave them a good watering. Any and all feedback/ criticism on set up or growing technique will be greatly appreciated!

Remember, it won't grow if it doesn't have roots to suck up water and nutrients.
So try stop misting the plant, and let the roots seek out moisture in the soil (that is how they grow).

Watering small seedlings can be tricky (not overwatering).
Sorry, I don't have better advice.

not enough light
not good medium
medium looks wet
how far is the light from your plants and what size light?
i have a 400 w hps 24" above plants. dont think light is an issue unless it's too much. i figured the medium would at least work. perhaps too much peat moss retaining water?

i use fox farm ocean forest but some other people like something as simple as miracl-gro, depends on your budget

there i didnt bash miracl-gro this time

just wanna smoke some of my own good shit. if you saw my budget for what i pay now for semi- decent trees you would probably be sick. lookin into farm ocean forest now. u use it straight? through the whole life cycle?

i dunno man, 400 watt HPS @ 24 inches might be a little harsh for those babies, mh has a more usable color temperature during veg but if u wanna run the hps its fine, try raising the light a lil, ur putting out 50000+ lumens with that light ....maybe try poking a few holes in a clear plastic cup, turn it upside down and start using it as a dome over the plants to raise humidity, it sould be around 50-70% during veg, those poor little guys need to root b4 theyre hammered with a hps light,lol...u cant run a ferrari full throttle till the engines warm, u know? i can imagine that hps produces a substantial amount of heat, no?mine does...when ur plants are that small they need to be eased into the soil, im not familiar with the medium u use so i cant comment, i just use fox farm OF, always solid for me...

ok the fox farms on its way :) def usin on the next grow... which begins on thurs. hoping to keep my girls tho. first grow i'm kind of attached lol.

They look heat stressed and probably overwatered but hard to tell. 400wat hps is too much for these babies, if your using the light just for these may i suggest that it is probably part of the cause with the heat and totally uneconomical electricity wise. 28c or 82f is a touch on the hot side, my plants would struggle in this but others might flourish. The yellow bottom leaves look like overwatering but to be sure make sure the pot is really light before next watering and even if the top 2/3 inches is dry on the soil remember that the soil below this could be wet still, best to go on pot weight to ensure not overwatering. Look like they got a lot of recovering to do when you fix the problems they got. Good luck.
