started with 2 widow seeds male and female. during flowering i pollonated and got 10 seeds. i recently grew one of the seeds and it looked different to the mother and father. but, it produced better smoke. my seeds were from nirvana and they list it as a hybrid. nirvana lists other plants as F1 hybrids. is there a difference?

There are numerous phenotypes for every strain. It's all about genetics.

Think of it like this: do you have a brother/sister that looks more like an aunt, grandparent, etc. than your biological parents?

some genes are more recessive than others.

F1 is first generation when you clone from a mother that came from seed that clone is f1 if you clone from that clone that clone is an F2 and so on.And as for your hybrid you grew, your female and your male were simply different phenos and produced something better thats all.If you grow all those seeds you will see that you will get a variety of different phenos that might look way different.
