2 LED UFO 1 Closet- 21 plants(WW, Killer Queen, Grape Ape, GDP)

So last grow was a true lesson on how to grow with these lights and NOT TO FLOWER WITH SPIDER MITES. In all last time I pulled about a half of decent dense buds. This time i have doubled the LED power with the same amount of plants and with no spider mites(knock on wood). there is about a 1 1/2 to 2 week difference in the age of plants and the longest have been in veg for about three weeks. Switching to flower next sunday and spraying to prevent mites this week and hopefully a week into flower.

For all those who are going to respond with talking trash about LEDs dont do it and just go somewhere else.

Hey littlegrower, havn't seen you in awhile man. I kinda fell off the last thread for some reason. I'm glad to see your sticking out the LED experiments. Your plants are looking great man, looks like your getting things dialed in! I finally got a grow going back in january. I'm about to switch most of my plants to 12/12 next sunday. You should swing by the journal and check things out. I put up some pics this morning, they are on page 77. Well lookin forward to seeing how things go this time around man. + rep for the LEDs Latta, TC

yes all the growth has been under the LED except for time in cloner

Glad to have you back! ive seen the last pics of your SHROOMAGE aha and it looks great, ill be stopping by later today and checkn out the new pics.

damn nice considering the mite problem. what do you think of the procyov 1000 watt led ? its high priced also i think about $595.00

i havent really looked into it but i would guess that if you could figure out the best conditions it works with that you could pull better than my lights. But if your comparing to HPS i would go with that.

this morning i saw a few mites so i got out the neem oil and gave them a good spray down, lets hope none live!

haha you scared me for a sec. ya i hope aswell that i can make it SM free and from the last finish it seems that these lights with how close they can be can produce decent dense buds. theres plenty of room so feel free to drop in netime.

so today started out pretty shitty. i walked into the closet and one of the LEDs was off when i run them for 24 hr. when i switched it back on the ballast started buzzing (extremely annoying). i instantly called HID HUT up and got Justin who was very helpful. he said he would ship a new ballast to me asap but the kicker is they wont have ne for another 2 weeks. the ballast is still working but is starting to smell as if the insides are burning and im pretty iffy on whether to keep the fucker on or not. lets hope they get the ballast quicker that expected.

wow just doubled my pissed off mood when i walked back in the closet and once again the light is off. seems like im fucked for a good 2 weeks...

sounds like it could be a fire hazzard be carefull

ya i turned it off and moved it out so now i have to either move half the plants to my HPS closet for a couple weeks or move the light back and forth like every 6 hrs

decided to go with moving the light every 4 or 6 hours depending on how lazy i am or when im around. only one good side of having one light is that i can let the smaller ones catch up to the other side and try to make a even canopy for when the new ballast comes.

so this morning they look pretty good. the smaller ones on the right are starting to fill out and most all have been topped. i plan on switching to 12/12 when the other ballast comes so that throws out this sunday. ill take some pics later on today.
