2 identical plants 1 burnt with light

i have two identical strains plants lst and topped exactly the same, same water and nuts same light vents everything but one is covered with hairs 4 weeks into flower and one just doesnt have much hairs at all and doesnt look good, i did burn the top of 1cola with hps on accident will that stunt the growth of the whole plant?

my buddy had 8 plants and scorched some of them and the ones that didn't get scorched definitely budded better than the buds that got scorched.
