i started off with around 20 seeds consisting of mango, afghan kush, swiss mix outdoormix, and BBC but most of them didnt have a place to stay and thus died.
start off on the 24th of march, but the lighting conditions were mediocre. i had my seedlings grow under a normal desktop lamp and everyone of them seemed to stretch. soil was nicked from a neighbours compost pile, which turned out to be unsterile, as i have noticed mini centipede like nasty ass mofos recently.
i had the 250 hps set up just a few hours ago, and had the remaining 6 plants transplanted into sterile soil and watered them with a chemical nutrient used for gardening.
unfortunately, my inexperience led to one of the 4 mangoes from ripping, so now i have 2 Afghan Kush females with 3 mangoes. here are some pics!

if you look closely at the bottom set of leaves in every plant, the leaves are withering and yellowing and seem to be drying up...
now i know it's some kind of a deficiency, just dont know which one and how to supply it with the proper thing... help would be VERY much appreciated.

started off wrong, now my babies are set with the lights and have been under the 250watt HPS for like almost a week now! I was upto no good after work, and decided to learn more about the holy herb lol. since i was always curious about getting 4 main colas, i decided to endulge my self in information about pruning. found out that there are different ways of getting several colas(FIMing, SCROGing, topping, LST, HST etc.) since i have a limited space and apparently, 2 of my biggest babies happened to be on the 5th, 6th node so i decided to apply the FIMing method on 'em. 1 feminised afghan kush and mango received operation around 2 in the morning(lights on from 6am till 10pm)after being watered in the morning.

pic1 detail shopt of the ak, will any1 please tell me how my first attempt looks?

pic2 ak received the most light during the time before the HPS was applied, so the lower leaves are smaller compared to other plants...should i cut em off? (they seem to be covered by the bigger top leaves)

pic3 side shot of FIMed mango. what is up with the top leaves? is that "foxtailing"? i know my plants seem hella stretched...what can i do to make the stem thicker?(apart from air ventilation and spraying water)

pic4 detail shot of mango at FIM point. was it done ok?

pic5 time to puff one

pic6 the tops which have been pinched off with my clean fingernails. after most of it was removed from stem, i used a art knife(which had been sterilized with flame for a few seconds) to cut of the remaining 1mm or so of the top.

pic7 blunt porn? lol

no1s been throwing any feedback so far, so i doubt any1 will. but i really wish to know how im doing so far!
