2 5x9 tents vs 1 10x10

Getting ready for a total rebuild and I wanted to hear your thoughts on the relative advantages / disadvantages of the 2 flower options I'm considering.
Either way the lighting options will 4 x either FLuence Spydr 2i, Gavita 7000e, or Photontek (that's the US version of Lumatek) 600w. The grow will have 4 4x4 areas so either configuration would work. I grow in 4 gal coco hempy buckets.
While the larger tent will be a bit more difficult to locate in the basement, it's doable.
Still deciding on CO2, but there will be a dehumidifier, a supplemental space heater, and floor standing A/C unit.
Any constructive comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Well one tent might be preferred because you don't have to duplicate climate controllers and such. But two tents could be run on a flip and conserve resources that way, like if you have limited power or limited cooling capacity.

There is another way to go, just turn the room into a flowering room and forget the tent.
Love to but the space doesn't lend itself to that format. Bringing in tent(s) doesn't require any approvals while sheet rock and 2x4s will cause some issues.
I'm leaning towards the 10x10 but if there are any negatives to the large format vs benefits to the 5x9s, I figured this would be the place to hear about it.

Two tents is more expensive to set up but will be easier to cool if you don't have a dedicated ac. You just run them on opposite schedules.

If you feel like cooling won't be an issue one tent is easier to take care of and cheaper to setup.

IF you are inclined to run a perpetual then two tents allows for two "cycles" with empty tents for cleaning after harvest. Perpetual in one space is begging for the perpetuation of pests / mold since you never have an empty space with no plants that can be sterilized.

Good point. Although I can partition off sections and run a 24hr UV-C sterilization process in the larger tent.

Perpetual is more work in my opinion, just figure out how much you smoke and keep enough to last the whole time. Otherwise you will feel lazy some days and feed everything the same mix of nutes, not to mention the benefit of a more even canopy when all plants are same size. The more even your plants the less area you have shaded out. Im in the process now of a full mono strain run and it's so much easier than mixing up different strains. I do have a couple strains I've had for a while that I run together because they pretty much feed the same, but this is even easier than that.

Shhhhhhhhhhhh
It's kinda like they say about motorcycles and laying them down. If you haven't dealt with it yet, you will at some point. It just comes with growing. Being able to handle it accordingly when it does happen is the key. And like he is saying if you have multiple different stages your going to end up having to shut down and get the tent empty to get rid of them. Where as if you harvest the whole tent same time you can disinfect the tent right away and then load it back up on schedule.

Mono culture rocks, thats why I like having two flowering rooms on a flip. I can mono each room and have two strains.

Each 5x5 grow is a single strain and has it's own nutrient reservoir regardless of whether they're in a 10x10, 2 5x9s, or 4 5x5s
