2 105 watt and 4-6 23 watt spiral cfl for vegging?

Last grow i used 8 23 watts and it worked good but it took like 1 month + to get a good size. Im wondering should I up my wattage? Im gonna be using my HPS to flower but i cant have fans in the cabinet where my plants will be vegging otherwise i would get a 150 or 175 watt metal halide.

What do you guys think?

Vegging for a month + isn't out of the ordinary. I vegged mine for just short of 60 days.

How many plants are you growing under those CFLs? The number of bulbs and the wattage seems sufficient to veg 2 to 3 plants, in my opinion. Although if you can fit more bulbs is, and you are able to control the heat, shove more in there.

Im gonna be vegging 6 plants. im gonna probably let em veg till about 2 feet. I have around 7 feet in my flowering cabinet so yeah lol

Should I go with 6500k or would 5000k work ok?

The reason im asking the 5000k 105 watt cfls are like 8 bucks cheaper they are also like 2000 more lumens
