What's up,
This is my first grow and I just threw a seed in a solo cup for fun till I get my indoor setup ready to go. Found the seed in some gorilla og. Anyways all the shit I see on line is so back and forth. Some ppl showing flowering at 3 weeks and have giant buds already...... some ppl barley have pistols. So any information would be sick. Some information is started in a solo cup and transfered twice and I'm in a 5 gallon pot now. I've used just miracle grow nutes because I honestly didn't think it would amount to anything. I'm 18 days from when I saw first pistol and I'm watching it constantly so it for sure exactly 18 days. I also have some thripes so maybe that's why they are a bit smaller but I have contained them pretty well just by killing with my hands and spraying Montgomery with spinosad. I'll obviously post pics as well.

Your 3 week old flowers look just a bit behind my 3 week old flowers. You have to realize that there are some very talented ppl on this site. Pushing their special genetics to unheard of yields. Inspiring!! Not BS!

No its outdoor just in a 5 gallon pot on my porch..... idk if it because I'm missing a couple hours of direct sunlight or a aphid problem wich I thought were thrips for so long but just did some more reading and they are for sure aphids. But God those bastards are annoying I look like a monkey picking bugs of another monkey for hours each day lol

Use some insecticidal soap and get rid of them bugs. They will slowly win if you don't kill em!!

I've been using Spinosad but they have found there way into the cracks and crevices. I've been trying to pick as many off as I can but it's only one plant and the infestation isn't terrible but still annoying. Do you think the soap will do more then the spinosad (Montgomery brand)? And what type of soap?

There is a commercial product called Safer insect soap... Or you can make your own using Dawn dish soap. 1 tsp in a quart spray bottle. Spray at will!! You have to kill mama, baby, larvae and eggs...

Flowering does not start when you see pistils. Flowering starts the day you flip to 12/12 for indoors and when the plant starts to go through the stretch for outdoors.

It's an outdoor plant and I'm a newbie lol so what is the stretch? But I realized after this post it wasn't thripes they were aphids and they were destroying my plant. And they multiplied fast so I drenched the thing with spinosad just because I would rather that kill them instead of the bastards buggers. It did the trick all I find now are dead aphids but the plant is yellowing and dosent look near as healthy I think ether I overdosed it, if that's possible, or the bugs just did to much damage before I got them. I think it's pretty much a lost cause but I'm still taking care of it. I guess it was a good learning experience for a first try and never really thought anything would come from it anyway. Thank you guys for all the advice tho.

The stretch is where the plant can double or triple in size in a very short time right before you start seeing budlets form.
