Im so interested to see how this turns out with all the under cutting. Im moving in that direction as well so this is going to be an eye opener. :):):) work looks great BTW ;)
Thanks, Ninja! I was kind of worried to begin with cutting all that undergrowth. I would get done cutting and wonder what the hell have I done?? Especially after installing these scrog screens. When I get done they just look decimated. However, the last week or so, when I get home from work I run down to the girls to see how they look and it looks like I have never touched them! They are LOVING that HPS! After an hour after doing a bunch of bonding, I look at them and branches are already turning upward at the light. I think I'm done for now though. Just going to sit back and watch what happens. (going to take forever to cut all those zip ties off when I harvest) The buds are starting to form, finally so I'll let those nice juicy nugs take off :weed:

Its kinda amazing what a plant does when you strip the leaves off. Had a friend with mites and the leaves of a plant in the back corner were pretty bad because he missed it cause hes lazy when he sprays. It was in hydro and probly 12" tall and i stripped almost all the leaves off of it. It looked pretty pathetic but now it has the biggest fan leaves of them all. Theres one leaf that has a blade 2 and a quarter inches wide, one blade! And its 8.5 inches long without the stem. The damn plant is only 16 inches tall in total. He wants me to strip all his plants now because that ones doing the best. It seems like the more you beat em up the better they do :):):)

Ya, I can't speak for all plants since this is the only thing I've ever grown, but from what I see, these plants are extremely resilient. I split one of my girls in 2 while trying to mainline it. Simply propped it back together and it healed itself in 2 days tops! Has the same attitude as me....chicks dig scars!

Bahahahahahaaa, you crack me up man, lmao, lmao.
Youve never had an outside garden? Growing in general kind of grows on you ;) i started with vegetables and then i figured i was getting pretty good at that so i decided to go after the holy grail of gardening.....and i owned that bitch! :):):)

Nope, no outside gardens. Thought about it a few times but never did it. So, I'm popping my gardening cherry with some sweet sensi! :weed:

I do feel the gardening bug growing me now, though. I've already germinated some mint seeds and just the other day a couple tomato seeds. All to hopefully be grown along side the MJ.

My bag seed is doing really well. Just hope it turns out to be a girl!

1 clone is a week older than the other and is doing great. The other doesn't look great but will be ok - just needs more time to take hold.

My flowering girls are finally starting to take off. They have been under 12/12 HPS for 2 weeks and a day now. I was worried about slow bud growth but today they really seem to be developing.

Thanks, Ninja. Ya, one much more than the other. They had both been in the clone dome in that crap medium that came with it. The better looking one has been in the solo cup in FF Ocean Forest for about a week and the other one only a few days. I gave em some light nutes last night and this morning they both look much better. The bag seed has even grown over night. From what I'm seeing so far I think I might get lucky - I think it may be a female.

She looks over watered for sure. Even though I have been growing for a year, I too, managed to over water a seedling the same size. I didn't realize that my knew T-5's produce like no heat. Which is also bad because I have my fan on low so there is little water evaporation. I'll be letting her dry out for atleast another day or 2

I have a feeling I'm always going to have to control myself when it comes to watering. Probably my worst habit (as far as plants go, anyway). I've got a lot of air movement over them but I need to wait an extra day or 2 before watering.

I water them when theyre young with a large syringe and always try to think of how big the plant actually is and how much it can drink when theyre small like that. I tend to under water and this happens, twice now lol, but they perk right back up half hour after they get water :):):)

I have a tendency to treat my plants as I treat myself, if one drink is good, 4 or 5 more drinks will be even better :eyesmoke:
