Here's what I used to use with my 600w

That was before the fuzz came and took it away.

Great reflector though and well worth the £175 price tag.

Lift reflector up, unscrew 2 bolts with your hand, glass is hinged and opens for easy bulb switch and glass clean.

Rubber sealed around glass for extra leakage protection.

Great direct light spread. Covered a 3.2x3.2 footprint easily.

Yep that's pretty close to mine. I guess mine is somewhat of a deluxe model that came with an iPower (I think) Ballast lol. The reflector is bigger and beefier but pretty much the same tube. The footprint on my tube is wider which allows me to drop it tighter on the canopy. The sealed unit I have is a sunspot 6 which is basically the same as an average economy 6" sealed unit, definitely a smaller footprint.

I pondered long and hard about getting a Raptor, Bigfoot etc. In the end I didn't think the investment was worthwhile since I already have the equipment that works fine! Plus my 6" fans would need to be replaced and a 650+ CFM is not cheap.

I really cant say Budolskie. but i would not trade mine for anything :) Its very big and like Don i use it for all sorts of things. Nice having a place to put "tools" while working the girls, without moving a foot. Cant complain about the light spread although i have found that it does have a spot more "lighted" than others. Maybe a longer bulb would fix it as it is not in center. Is a thousand watt bulb longer than 600? Might be a stupid q but might also answer my hood being for a 1000w :)
Sidenote Leaving the girls and house for two days tomorrow that sucks ass.

No I juts dip the cuts in rooting powder, make sure I got about a inch of stem hanging in air and a tiny bit in water and just make sure the water level stays above the air stone.... sum seem to root better then others like, they sit on a heated prop bottom all the time aswell

nice one aye i was thinking about putting mine into the heated prop but it should be toasty enough in the veg cupboard even when lights are out for them 8 hours.
